Matthew's Special Olympics Qualifying Weekend 2020
I've seen this over a dozen times and I cry every time
Yes, there once was a time when SNL was actually funny!
Best cast of all time
When SNL got it right. A classic mix of talent and writing.
Agreed, and those days are gone.
True comedy!
So fucking funny
Recently saw John Lovitz in Sarasota and he had the whole place in tears crying the entire set.
Robert Hegyes’ check for the drinks must have finally arrived to put him in such fine fettle!
This one really took me by surprise 😆👍 LOL ..... The guy just couldn't take a hint
Theres no towels in the mens room
"Yankee Kamikaze" 😄
They were great friends.
Phil was a freakin genius
Polydude.
Back when SNL had talent
I’m Moable to learn IF God forgives “Suicide.
Didn8 Didn’t’ How l Hart,am commit Suicide?
This comes from a sketch the two had written prior to Phil's casting on SNL. Phil and Jon re-enacted it for Phil's audition.
@@jpc2470 was about to add that, it’s on Phil’s Best of DVD . Miss that guy, keep hoping that maybe he’s just frozen somewhere, awaiting his return…
The funny thing is that in real life Lovitz at some point probably looked at Phil and thought "that's the best actor I've ever seen". They were unstoppable.
I bet he one time sat and watched him saying to himself "he's losing his mind and I'm reaping all the benefits"
Still missing Hartman after all this time. He was A classic.
Great guys. Hartman is severely missed.
These two were truly brothers, both in their groove in this scene.
Phil Hartman never coasted. I've only seen excellent performances from him. What a highly entertaining chap he was. By every account, a genuinely all round excellent man.
Too bad he married an Amber Heard before Amber Heard.
@@brianwalsh1401 Quite. They are not the gentler sex, just a different one.
@@martinidry6300 I've met some really nice lovely women in my life. The woman who I dated before the one I married was quite a lovely and decent person, I just wasn't ready to get married yet. The one who I did marry I also felt was a nice decent person but that was the act. She turned out to be a covert narcissist which I didn't know what that was at the time. No quite as violent as Amber Heard but every bit as conniving. These"people" are pure poison who bring you down on a daily basis. My takeaway is that everyone needs to understand cluster B personality disorders and heal any wounds from childhood.
@@brianwalsh1401 You have my sympathy. It happened to me once. Professor Higgins was right = "I will never let a woman in my life". Consequently, I retired at 45. I live fairly frugally but very comfortably, alone, stress free and haven't aged much at all (I'm 57). I indulge my love of reading and painting andspread no trouble around me. I look at the wreckage created by scheming women primarily and fickle men secondarily and am relieved I read things right from the outset.
@@martinidry6300 Hey if it's working for you and you're content than that's all that matters and I wish you all the best. We have to be careful about who we invite into our lives. Having that experience with a narcissist slapped the naive off me and gave me a wakeup call to who these people are in the world. I was brought right down to the ground and started working on my issues because of it which I doubt I would've done without that pain. So there was some good to the story. I was lucky and got away, my sister stayed for 27 years and is destroyed. It's ironic because of what you said because he's a cerebral narcissists and thinks of himself as "the absent minded professor" even though he is an assistant in an old folks home. I actually bought his schtick and so did my sister for many years until I figured it out. She still doubts it even though she is a shell of her former self. You can't make people believe anything. Good luck my friend.
Harry was an institution in baseball period!
This tribute to Harry was funny. Awesome!!!!!
13:12 ❤️
Jon, you're a RIOT, and PHIL, what can I say, "WE MISS YOU SO"!!!!
Thanks for everything Dan! Here’s a little something for you: ruclips.net/video/Y7ggw365lYI/видео.html

age/ect. Please?
As one of those kids that Harry took time to sign an autograph for, I can tell you that it has meant more to me than I could ever explain.
Great eulogy! 👏👏👏👏👏 😁😁😁😁😁
My two heroes
the greaset comedian to ever get his brains blown out ,,,,,she just couldnt stand his jokes ,,,,,,no longer
Stay off the lines. That was horrible.
Loved his german jack nicholson
This is a poignant today as it was in 1998. I knew Pete well. It is Pete at his best.
Jon Lovitz is the funniest supporting comedian of all time- brilliant actor 😆
I'm not even sure he's the best supporting comedian in this scene! But that's a testament to the brilliance of both!
Thank god for friends like this.
This is the best. Miss you Harry
Another good..but oh so sad and touching moment was at the end of the funeral. Steve Stone said towards the end of his book "Where's Harry?"...that at the end of Harry's funeral as they carried him out the organ started playing very slowly.."Take me out to the Ball Game". Stone at that moment lost it and balled. Upon reading that, the tears came a coming from me too. Great book.
Miss you Harry ⚾
"What's the word on the street?" - that always kills me
Thanks for posting an all-time favorite.
Perfect. We should all have such a friendship as Pete and Harry. Ever heard applause at a funeral before? Me either. Godspeed to both their souls
For those of us seeking the meaning of life, here it is. This is the message of a lifetime. Friendships and relationships are what make humans fulfilled and happy. Harry was rich, and famous but what mattered at the end was friendship, kindness, and generosity. I saw this tribute years ago, I keep coming back to it because there is no better example of the meaning of life. “If you have a friend, take time and tell them, I love you my friend, because in the end, our friends are all we have” paraphrasing, may be an error in there, but forgive me I’m drunk on Budweiser. This speech by Pete is a tribute to Harry but also a tribute to humanity. It’s beautiful. To friendship. To Harry and Pete up there together.
Jay Sherman?
Yes it is.
I remember Harry caray very well and Mr. Smyth... We used to always go to the baseball games Harry caray used to always pay for us to get in when I was in Maryville academy.. I was very sorry for the passing away of both of them 🥺!
Miss ya Harry
