Congratulations on your PatriClan test results being traced back to the Yoruba & Fulani people of Nigeria 🇳🇬! Like you I did the PatriClan test after learning my haplogroup is indeed African (E-M4451/E-CTS9106) and it traced to the Fula people similar to yours. The only difference it is traced to present day Guinea-Bissau 🇬🇼.
Good info!! Blessup

I support this endeavor, however I believe you lack the depth of knowledge and understanding of the Transatlantic Slave Trade and it's impacts to build a movement at this time. One of the most critical facts you're missing is that many, what we would call White people, today, also have enslaved Africans in their ancestry. I would suggest taking on an elder advisor with the knowledge you're missing or holding off until you gain more knowledge. With respect.
Thanks for posting, brother.
This is litttttt
What sub group are aa Michiganders from i always get stuck on this one
Im Creole but were from Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi and me Wisconsin.
That’s nice to hear. I have Family from Alabama as well and my great grandmother, she came from a Creole background as well.
Awesome work my Brother! Have you ran into any information pointing to us being Aboriginal to the Americas? You do know that not all of our ancestors were in Africa. We had a large population across Europe like Ireland, Spain (until 1492) and right here at n the Americas. Check out a book called “Whence the Black Irish of Jamaica by Joseph J. Williams. Also, Abu Bakri came from the Mali Empire with 2000 war ships between 1200 - 1300’s. Not to mention the Olmec head sculptures found in Central America and the first humans on this land were Pigmies.
Glad you enjoyed the video fam. I’ve looked into how we are aboriginal to Americas and I don’t agree with most of it. I’ve heard that we aren’t descendants of Africans, instead we are pure blooded American Indians which is crazy wild, because it’s false. We do have American Indian Admixture which is true so yes we are kinda Indigenous to the Americas. Most of us have predominant African DNA which is how we got our phenotypes and skin color.. Which ties us to being of African Descent through Most of our paternal and maternal lineages. It’s is the whole point of being Soulaan is to be of African descent, not aboriginal Australian, unless you have that modern or ancient admixture. About the Black Population taking place in Europe, sure Blacks were in Europe, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t have ancestors from Africa. This is proven with DNA evidence, most of us are predominantly African, a little Europeans while some of us do have ancestry with 1-8% Indigenous American Ancestry, some Soulaans also have a bit of East Asian ancestry. That 1% Indigenous American simply means we have a great grandparent from the paternal or maternal line that was an Indigenous American to the 7th generation. Now I do agree that Africans from the Mali Empire and other empires did travel here prior to the trans-Atlantic slave trade, because it’s just not realistic for every one of our Afro ancestors to just had came here through a slave ship. Afro Hondurans and etc have connections with the Mali Empire. Now while the Olmec statue does look phenotypically Negroid, it doesn’t necessarily mean the Olmecs were Black, because even Indigenous Mexicans Mongolians, and other Indigenous Americans share that same phenotype.
@@RayalWorldConz Agreed. My point of view is that us Africans are Indigenous to all of Earth. The original Indians are African people. Same with Asians, Europeans…

Soullan is cool. However, I gave myself my own identity. Orikhu Omaqi Ori = Original Khu = Children Oma = Mother Qi = Earth Oma is the Igbo Goddess of all Creation and Earth represents her as the Goddess Ala so this is where I get Oma/Mother from. Khu is actually Spirit in the Khemetic language Ori can stand for Original but it also is Yoruba for either the Soul or Spirit And Qi is actually an ancient name for Earth so this is how I came up with this...or actually it came to me.

Someone believing they are native American does not make them Native American people just started saying this maybe 11 years ago and now everyone is distorting what their grandmother said. One grandparent saying they had some Indian mixed in their bloodline does not mean our entire bloodline is Indian. They're distorted history and stealing other people's history and they use the craziest stories someone said they kept something on every slaves mouth so they couldn't speak and tell their heritage like not all Africans Americans stayed in enslaved long some had Irish mothers so they were freed very early so you don't think they would know if every black person in America were real native Americans. Plus Census records in the 1880s in Kentucky and 1870s in Alabama and Virginia show that black people who had parents born in Africa or they were born in Africa.
This is cool, fun fact, The Rock's dad is a Black Nova Scotian
im here from that ambient music video you commented on
Wondeeful to see this...The only thing I found triggering is you keep saying african amaericans LOL the point is we are not African Americans so I just wonder why you keep using the term if you are promoting the understanding that we are Soulann. 🤷🏾♀️ seems like we should be u iversal law and speaking it into existence with out a double mind or tongue.
Yeah I have to constantly say that because some people don’t know what Soulaan is. But I’ll make sure in future videos to only refer to us as Soulaan for the time being. The whole point is to clarify who we are as Soulaan instead of BA or AA. Thanks for the criticism.
Salaam my dear brother The Fulani people are from Kmt. Especially looking at the 17th and 18th dynasties we have found one prominent Fulani Pharaoh with the naked Ka. Ka is part of grammar of the Fulfulde dialects. Especially the Macina dialect in present day Mali. Ka is a vital piece in the old belief system that the Fulani believed; 2500 or more years before Islam. And there are Futafula men, on their paternal side with E-genotype. Like my elder cousin in The Gambia. He is Fula and Mandinka. The E series is Germaine to ancient Black Africans and West Africans. E series is mainly noted to Kmt or ancient Egyptian.
I’ll try doing research on this. I found out awhile back that my 2nd great grandmother has 3% North African on Ancestry. I also have >3% North African according to FTDNA, so Ancestry is definitely hiding some stuff.
@@RayalWorldConz yes, they are! 23 and me is also doing this. They listed the LO1 series entering Kmt as a M series Haplogroup. Which is false!
Keep up the good work! This is really good information. Honestly, I don't know all the subgroups I belong to. However, I do know my family genetically trace origins back to the early Black Americans in the 1700's and it included the Virginia area. Most of my family were in Mississippi for generations. I guess we are regular Black Americans. LOL!

Trying to anchor every colored person to one place is fishy af. I believe this is a method that the one world government leaders are using to conquer or ancestral lands. Slavery is a farce negros weren’t the only ppl going through that in the times. Believe the receipts not the stories
Yeah I’m aware of that. No matter what ethnic group you’re apart of, those people were definitely slaves at some point even if it was a minority, nobody truly knows, blacks weren’t the only people enslaved like they push it to be. Realistically speaking, many of our ancestors came from Africa and other places as well. But I don’t believe we should all literally go back there, it’s the individual choice. It’ll be crowded as heck same with Europeans and Asians. Lol We’re all over the place and I’d love to visit Africa some day. When they tell you to go back to Africa like back in the day, they’re basically telling you “hey, go back to your ancestral land so that we can take your territory.”
Thank you! Soulaan is my tribe. It seems we are always asked to choose a tribe and that's difficult to do if I choose lets say Yoruba which is my highest African ancestry. I will feel as if I am denying my Igbo ethnicity or my Tikar ancestry, or my Akan ancestry, also I call myself Bantu, and the Yoruba say WE ARE NOT Bantu! I am very mixed African and have ancestry from all five regions of the Continent its difficult to choose just one. Soulaan is what we call ourselves. We have songs that say Soul Man or Soul Woman. I am not full blooded Native Indigi-American I have traces of that ancestry. I a 13:34 m a Soul Sister. Soulaani woman.
Keep up the good work! Great video! I will just add that I don't think any Soulaan person would be fully African here even if the genetic test would show otherwise. Remember, lineage is different from genetic ancestry. What I mean is that ethnic groups can disappear in your personal DNA if they weren't inherited from your parents and the contribution of that DNA is way far back in the family line. It's called the randomness of inheritance. If we are here for more than three centuries, we are bound to have some other racial ethnic group in our lineage even if it doesn't show on a genetic test. That's just my take on it. Again, thank you and keep on doing what you are doing. The time is now! We do need to make sure we are a recognized ethnic group b/c the identity stealing and lack of acknowledgement is at an all time high now.
Heavily appreciate it and yeah absolutely. From my perspective I guess it’s very rare that we come across Soulaans to be 100% African. I’ve seen genetic tests where people got 100% African. But for the most part, we’re a very mixed group of people having both Recent and Ancient Admixture, same thing goes for other people around the world which I find fascinating about genetics. But yeah, I agree 100% we as a community have to change the narrative of what people think about us and make huge assumptions. Even the inventions that we made aren’t really told in school other than we made the potato chip.. That’s a good accomplishment but Seriously?? We came up with more ideas than that like street lights, game cartridges and so on.
@@RayalWorldConz Exactly. Agreed. It's very important to distinguish lineage from genetic inheritance. All of your lineage will not show up on a DNA ancestry test. We don't inherit all the genes our parents have due to getting only half from each parent and the randomness of selection. Therefore, particular ethnic or racial identities that our in a person's lineage will not be present in the DNA test. That's why it's encouraged to have many family members do ancestry genetic testing and to trace your lineage via records. I'm assuming that people who are of our ethnic group but 100% African may have admixture with other racial groups so far back that it doesn't show in their DNA anymore. Also, if they come from Geechie/Gullah people, due to their isolation with very little contact with Indigenous and European people, you might find 100% African DNA results.
@@RayalWorldConz Yes, we need to really start promoting our achievements outside of entertainment and sports. Because most people have no clue about our intellectual and achievement culture.
Women do have haplogroups mine is L3b1a11. Men have two a woman has one which she passes to all of her children. My dad and brothers are E1b1a7a my brothers share my maternal haplogroup L3b1a11.

We were called soul because we exude so much emotion. So people began to call us soulful. Full of soul. Feelings and emotions
I love it. Now when someone asks my tribe I can tell them I am Soulaani.
Thats where Pan African and Diasporian come in... but no there is nothing wrong with it... imma Geechee myself...never give up your African Connection...we are the reason Africa is still alive accross the world... Brazil is even knicknamed MiniAfrica because of it Yoruba population from the Drisporian trade.. and here in the US look up Oyutingi Village
I’ve been thinking about visiting that village up in Carolina. A friend recommended it to me for awhile. But yeah, that’s definitely true. I think it’s very important for us Soulaans to do research on Africa and what tribes we come from along with genealogy. I’m also a Gullah sense I have family from the Carolinas, Georgia and Florida. I found out that I descended from the Fulani and Yoruba and it made me proud that I no longer have to go through an identity crises.
@@RayalWorldConzASé... we should get as close as possible...find out where our roots come from... But even if we don't get that chance...we can be comfortable in calling ourselves Gullah GeeChee or Soulaans because we are literally a mixture the many that were brought here plus those that were already here... Know that Ibu Landing is a true story Yorubas were very valuable and came at high prices...Congo..... Cameroon... I tell ppl we are the best of all worlds in one...
Brazil had a different history where they were allowed to hold on to their African roots and they kept sending Africans to Brazil even in the 1850s. They even had a much longer slavery than black Americans.
To be fair, even though we are of African descent, a lot of current Africans do not want to be associated with us. We can acknowledge our lineage and still have our own thing. Most of the time we’re appropriating their cultures to feel like we belong to something bigger, since we’re constantly “othered.” Soulaan is something that is uniquely ours. THEY NOT LIKE US!
@@foodforinsomnia7026 so tru...the thing is even when we don't intend to we speak in an either or attitude...when really this is a both and relationship... Several different pods with lines of fiber that attach us all just enough so we know we belong but not so much that we lose ourselves...
how do we get the dna test??
I’d advice you to do research on what DNA test you want to take. But also make sure you’re comfortable with doing it. You can do research on Ancestry, 23&Me, FamilyTreeDNA and so on on RUclips. If you want to do Ancestry, you can order an Ancestry DNA kit and they’ll mail the kit to your place and follow the directions.

My Matriclan is Akan of Ghana! #africanancestry
That’s dope, my grandmother on my paternal side is also Akan from Gabon, so we’re technically ancient family.
You're doing the right thing. Most people of African ancestry in the Americas can only trace family history back to a plantation and they look no further. My ancestry lists only country names, Nigeria, Benin, Togo, etc. Nigeria is the biggest %. However, there are 250 ethnic groups recognized in Nigeria. I'm going to use African Ancestry to pinpoint the people my ancestors came from. I'm thinking Igbo will pop up since the Igbo were the largest group of people kidnapped from Nigeria. Igbo's are Hebrews/Israelites, which is their claim and as such has been acknowledged by Israel. The Yoruba are in the same space... Egyptian or Hebrew origins. Keep doing your research. There's so much to uncover. Africans in the Americas have had their histories and identities stripped from them. The vast majority have no idea who they are or where their ancestors came from. Keep doing what you're doing. You're on the right path.
That’s nice, heavily appreciate it and yeah it’s a huge journey. I’ve heard that the Igbos possess a Y chromosome from Israelites, but I’m not sure how legit these claims are. You’ll have to do some digging when you get your results. But if you haven’t, you could also consider uploading you raw data from Ancestry to LivingDNA. LivingDNA gives you tribes from different regions. Are you planning to take African Ancestry for you Paternal or Maternal?
You’re beautiful…bc YOU’RE AFRICAN!🙌🏽 Fulani & Yoruba! Yes! ❤

You wanted to be anything else but Black? Is that what you are saying? I never thought of being another race or color. WTF? Dang!
💀 Well not necessarily that, but also Black as in just.. Black. keep in mind this is all when I was a kid. I know that Black is a race but what type of Black person am I ancestrally? There’s no people or landmass called “Black”. What Black ethnic groups did I come from prior to my ancestors coming to America? That’s what I meant.
Don’t try to knock him for being brutally honest which is very impressive for being such a young man. He did it publicly, something many black people won’t even admit to themselves. He’s smart enough to know that many in the black community have wished and still wish they were anything else or at least had some American Indian admixture. But it’s obvious he feels differently now and feels proud of his blackness.
Sorry but it's been proven that DNA testing is not true.you have to do your genealogy not that fake DNA test.....and you do not look African. most so called African American are indigenous to America, not Africa.and it is being proven everytime a so called African American do their genealogy, and again ancestry DNA is not real, you are being lied to......do your genealogy!!!
Trust me, I’ve already done my genealogy from present to the 1700s and 1500s. (I think from 1900s and 1700s is mostly accurate.) But genealogy doesn’t really tell you what ethnic background you’re from, SOME ancestors was stripped away from their parents and had identity changes. Records go by the states and races like Mulatto, Negroe, Colored, Black, White and so on. Genealogy can only really tell you so much really. And the only accurate information MOST people can get when it comes to genealogy is to the 18 or 1700s. But other than that, on my Paternal Mother side, we came from Creeks or in other words Yamasse. And DNA testing is very real, I’ve found a lot of relatives and connections I have with different ethnic tribal groups. I don’t think anyone can prove that Black Americans aren’t African. Sure we aren’t in nationality African, the gene wise we are of African descent. But if you have proof of that, I would love to hear. But to say that I don’t look African is very interesting.. Do you believe that all Africans look the same? Do I look like a pure blooded American Indian?
No it's been proven that dna test is not real.and if you believe that you are from Africa then you should have family still living there.in order to find your tribe you have to find your family tree first not a tribe first......so that proves that dna test is false.in order to find out who you are,you have to do your genealogy family tree first because all africans that came to America was recorded so you don't need a DNA test because it cannot prove who you are......and further more the slave trade is false,it did not happen it's all a lie ...... please do your family tree and not that fake DNA because there are people that are trying to take our place and claim America as there's....the so called African Americans are the true Indians and we are not leaving our land!!
@@JuanMctillman Like I said, I already told you that I did my family genealogy. You completely skipped over that sentence I think, You’ll have to scroll up and reread it if you can. On my Paternal Mother side, we came from Creek Indians due to we are in Creek Indian territorial state reservations. We own land here. I do agree that yes, African Americans are SORT OF Indigenous to America in a sense that we’ve been here for 400+ years and most of us have 1%-8% Indigenous North DNA, but this does not mean that I’m a pure Indian. Saying that the slave trade is false is a stretch, because I’ve heard this several times before with Dane Calloway and other ABOS content creators. How did Europeans come here on their ships if slave ships didn’t exist? Also with genealogy, once again SOME information may not be accurate, and they don’t tell you ethnically who you are, they go by races like Black/Negro,Mulatto, Colored, and White. Also, our names were being changed, kids and adults were being stolen from their families and they didn’t write every single nook and cranny details on the records. (Most of us can only trace it back to a plantation of some sorts) Also I acknowledge that I’m not literally from Africa, it’s clear that I’m an American National Citizen and am from America. We’re talking about ancestral lineage before we came to America. DNA is not false, When it comes to paternity tests of who the real father is, or police court investigators case, that’s a completely different story. You’re entitled to your belief though. Also, majority of my relatives are here in America, I have found several living African relatives actually. Finding your African relatives takes time if you’re actually dedicated to that.
I'm sorry young man but there is no such thing as sort of, either you are African or American you are still going by what was taught in school.and again that dna did not tell you anything about your family tree it only says that you are from a certain tribe, you can not go by dna to prove that you are from Africa and it's obvious you didn't do your genealogy because your genealogy is your family tree, you haven't said anything about your family tree...... again your genealogy is your family tree dna does not tell you about your family tree.... please do more research because every African that came here was recorded, africans here in America are called Africans not African American and you have to do your family tree to find your tribe.and again if you are African then you should still have family there......... genealogy does not tell you that you are 1% or 20% genealogy tells you if you are Indian or not!!
slave trade never happened is not a stretch is the truth.the real slave trade is in reverse, a lot of our people from America were taken to Africa,France, Britain and Europe and further more the Africans are saying that we are the original melinated people of America and that they have never heard of african people being taken to america.and the africans in America says that the only time they heard of that is when they came America by the colonizers.so again please do more research and check out dane Calloway because he already debunked the fake slave trade!!
It's sad that people comment on videos such as this with ignorant attitudes!?
Do you really believe those results? They lied about history and your probably not African. All races migrated out of Africa and we populated the world. Dark brown skin is indigenous on every island. All of a sudden not a trace of a black person in the America's? All black people come from Sub Sahara Africa? Whats the difference from being black and negro? Learn your history. Luzia the bones of a black women with negro features was found in South America over 12,500 years ago. Guess what although she had African features she was not labeled African but labeled as the first Brazilian.
Trust me, I do research EVERYDAY. I believe some black people were in the Americas prior to the Slave Trade and Columbus but they were of African descent. I don’t even believe that literally all of us came here on a slave ship. And yes I’ve seen stuff about Luzia and her bone structure being “negroid” but that doesn’t necessarily mean that every black person from America is related to her right? And no, I don’t believe that all Black people are necessarily ethnically African, people migrated out of Africa thousands of years ago. We have Australians, Papua New Guineans, Negritos and so on.. Africa isn’t even just a continent for Black people, it’s mostly populated by Black people but look at North Africans such as Egyptians, Moroccans and some East Africans look like Middle Easterners. All of these people have an admixture including us, everyone has an admixture! Africa is very diverse, I have ancient admixture from East and North Africa too. But as Soulaans or Black Americans, we are a mix of a lot of different ethnicities and races, that being mostly of African descent and out African DNA is very recent even after 400+ years of being here and there’s nothing wrong with that. We are our own ethnic group, created our own culture from the ground up and we descended from a lot of African tribes and so on. As for the results yes they’re accurate, you know DNA doesn’t lie. I looked at my whole admixture from GED Match and it matches these results. If I’m not of African descent then idk, am I a pure blooded American Indian? I only have a little Amerindian which would be 1% Indigenous North American and 0.2 Indigenous Amazonian that which means I have a great grandparent that was possibly indigenous American to the 7th - 9th generation. We came from Creeks sense they lived from GA,Alabama and Florida. But that doesn’t mean I can just walk up to people and say I’m a creek Indian. I’ll just say I have a little Indian in my family.
@@RayalWorldConz I appreciate the time you took to respond. Very interesting read. Continue to be great♥️.
I'm on a one man campaign to change the term "African American" to American African. The term American African signifies what kind of African you are whereas African American signifies what kind of American you are. Likewise in the rest of the diaspora black people would be referred to as Caribbean Africans, Brazilian Africans, British Africans etc. This word order emphasises the unity of people of African descent whereas the term African American etc emphasises division. Think about it.
I always and still think it should be the converse?
I'm 100% Yoruba (from the mother land) and I took one look at your face and guessed before you revealed the results that you were family. Let me be the first to say "Eku ile" ... meaning welcome home.
Heavily appreciate it my Yoruba brother. ✊🏾 I plan to travel the motherland real soon.
