    this question is rubbish, there’s no need to put an octagon rather than a square/ pentagon. it’s literally testing the same thing… putting it off-centre is also really annoying.

    what does the mark scheme say about part d)?

      when you put in the value of t=10 they will look at how far you are away from that value in % terms. In this case it is over 7% out of the true value so is not really a good model. It is difficult to say where the cut off is but they should make it quite an obvious decision ie under 1% is good model, over 5 % out is getting a bit poor. As long as you articulate your interpretation of the % it should get the mark
