A Man Called Hero - VSC VHS/DVD Advertisement.
Просмотров 3314 дней назад
A promotional video for the Canadian VHS/DVD release of A Man Called Hero. Appears to be aimed at video store owners, not the public, but was nevertheless included on the DVD made available for sale/rental as the 'theatrical trailer'. My best guess is that, since the real theatrical trailer prominently shows the KKK scenes that were removed from all DVD editions worldwide, this was instead slap...
Captain America (1990) Deleted Veterans' Hospital Scene
Просмотров 9721 день назад
One of the very few scenes from Pyun's true original cut that has ever been released for public viewing, where Captain America seeks out his former commander from WWII. Framerate is unfortunately fudged-up on the only copies I could nab of it. This is taken from the 2011 cut, NOT the new cut that has recently been unearthed - I do not have nor have I seen the newly-found cut.
Captain America (1990) Alternate/Original Finale, best-guess recreation.
Просмотров 41221 день назад
In light of the recent news of Pyun's director's cut being unearthed and having been streamed secretly (which alas, I missed), I decided to do my best guess at replicating the alternative original finale hinted at by those who have seen/watched this cut, from the few clips/screencaps available. Footage from a different scene in the middle of the workprint version was used to illustrate my guess...

Cybersix Ending Score - Robbi Finkel

I would give anything for this show's score to be officially released. Here's to Robbi Finkel for composing one of the best scores to ever grace a cartoon. Featured at the end of the episodes Daylight Devil and The Final Confrontation.

Still surreal that I got to be one of the first people to see this when it was found, good times.
Actually unreal to get it in the mail and see this shit playing on my computer. Then the mild panic when it stuttered, and the massive relief when I was able to back up perfectly. Good times indeed!
This movie always saddened me, not simply because of the tragic deaths & senseless killing. It saddens me because it shows that this was the beginning of the end of the Frontier. To me the Frontier always represented the true America, the real Land of the Free. That America is gone forever.
I think I understand why they removed this scene ultimately, cause it makes text all the things that are subtext. Spells it out too much. Still it's powerful, and it hits.
New line Cinema is a disgrace for what they did to his movies.
그시절이 떠오르는 영화
Too bad it wasn't kept in the theatrical version...Russell means was an activist his whole life and deserved to speak last..

Thank you so much for doing this. I had seen a review of the Albert pyun cut of the movie but as the reviewer is about to talk about the ending he just decides to talk about other things and I tried looking everywhere for what the original ending was suppose to be like so now I can see what the original idea was for the idea I really do appreciate your hard work for making this video 😁🤟
I had the same frustration! Guess he wants to keep it a surprise lol. Decided to make my best guess by analyzing the footage and the screenshots shown. I'm 99 percent confident on this one, only thing I'm not sure of is if he gets shoved off or jumps off on his own.
@ I think that I had seen somewhere that he walks off himself because it follows the way Albert had put it together and seeing the still of him playing the piano and how he’s the mirror of captain America but maybe if things had gone different and he had the life and love captain had he might’ve became a better person and maybe when he hears that classical music it brought back the good he had in him and with the last of good he had he realized what he was doing and the only way to stop himself thus doing what he did
Nicely done! I love the MCU movies but Albert Pyun’s Captain America will always have a special place in my heart. I have copies of the movie on VHS, laserdisc, DVD and blu-ray and am looking forward to the true director’s cut which is reportedly due to be released next year. Hope you enjoy it as well.
Yes! And thank you so much for the compliment. Sadly missed the livestream but I'm eagerly awaiting the DC and hope it can happen. I'm curious to see how close my estimate of the ending is! The pics that got leaked of it helped a lot of pieces click together. For example, I noticed by the bullet-streak on the shoulder being on the wrong side that they mirrored the shots of Cap at the end - in the final film they make it look like he's turning left to look at the president, but in truth it was meant to be him looking to the right at Red Skull's mourning daughter all along. Fascinating stuff!
if this jojo movie it's relased, the jojo phantom blood game for ps2 it relase on america and europe too, but unfortunately the movie isn't relased so the game relase only in japan
What a more satisfying ending. Thanks. As with Fantastic Four '94, fans with CGI skills need to step in restore these films as close as possible to the Producers original intent.
Thank you so much for the kind words! With any luck, fan rescue won't be needed! They found a full print of the true director's cut that has been scanned in full HD quality. All they need to do now is get the money to restore it and the go-ahead to release it. I hope the same can happen for F4 '94, and that the only film copies being destroyed is a myth.
Final Cut is my favorite, although you could extract all that pandering eunuch nonsense out of it and restore the extra Roxanna nudity from the director's cut. Because I know Alexander was into the crotch notch, not the nuggets.
Yellowstone full circle, so chilling
It would've been great if only the editing made it really look like the shark was able to get a bite lol 😆
Which cut is better? The final or the ultimate?
he would eventually defeat the french and becomes the 16th president
Yo man, is this from the recently discovered cut of the film?
Yes but no but yes. It's from the 2011 DVD that Pyun put out himself, which had this one extra scene on it but no others. So yes, this scene is in that recently discovered cut, but that's not where I sourced this clip from.
Rip torn was the best part of the movie
Dirty little shit, you think that's funny! I gotta work in the morning, get the hell off my property! Dad, what the fuck? He hurt his leg! Why is everyone screaming like a banshee? Jesus Christ. Oh, Christ! Oh, God! Oh, great! Get him a job! Get him an ambulance!
1:11 Green jumpscare
R.I.P to both Joe Flaherty and Rip Torn And Joe's scene was cut from the final film.
#ReleasetheGreenCut Maybe because Tom Green is getting a documentary plus a stand-up special on Prime next month, we'll have our fingers crossed for a FGF director's cut!
I definitely hope so! He seems fond of the movie and still interested in releasing his cut, he has a poster up for it in his house going by recent interviews and has a Freud bust laying around too.
@ I know it's unrelated but did you know Phone Booth (with Colin Farrell) originally had Ron Eldard as the caller, but was replaced by Kiefer Sutherland in the final cut because test audiences reacted poorly to Eldard? As a big fan of this movie I wish there was a way to see the Eldard cut
I guess the MPAA has a problem with killing children, eh? But then again, The Boogeyman from 2023 has a baby getting killed offscreen in the opening scene, hence its screaming/creature noises.
I think this film does absolute justice to James Fenimore Coopers Book just brilliant ❤
Much better than the book.
The movie is a little shoved on. It got a bad reputation, and people judge it unfairly. To be honest, I don't go into this for Travolta's performance, because I guess it is his worst. Though I feel Barry pepper did a good Job, and the film has a charm. People's complaints mostly: "wahh wahh, 😢 the camera angle is always tilted, or John Travolta sucks. Or the scenes are stupid. The tilted camera angle is what makes this movie unique and stand out for me, and it was one of my favorite sci Fi films as a kid, lol. I will literally defend this film to the day. It's still a fun piece of scifi nostalgia. admit though, Travolta is a great alien villain, and easy to hate. Even though it isn't acted the best. By the way, they should have kept this scene. It's more effective to make me wanna route for the characters who are captured, to make it look like their life is more threatened. Not sure why they deleted this. Barry pepper is great here, he definitely deserved more recognition and credit.
I think the angles work half the time, but the other half it's being overused. Travolta's performance is fun and goofy and I feel like people miss that it's intentionally comedic most of the time. When he actually tries to lock in and be dramatic, it works. (The library scene / 'nothing will help you' etc.) As for why they deleted this, I think it's because of the bad special effects, the blue-screen/green-screen is sort of poor and the river is visibly a non-moving still image.
😏
You like the line between races you think that's funny atl ?
The only normal person in this alien penal colony. Feel sad for him.
Love this film and the music just brilliant ❤
That classic late 80s movie vibe. Man....
DVD has better colors lol
The Bluray restored this scene which is the theatrical cut. They cut it out of the first run home video versions to include more scenes with the humans. There was some scene in the middle that was added instead. There’s also some more dialogue in a few scenes as well
Can't believe they removed the scenes where john is eating coco puffs
cereal eaters are truly oppressed
I like this ending but I prefer the original ending - it said it all - I am the last of the Mohicans was a clear enough explanation that they were all killed off but I like the last line in this version to “once we where here” I think the explanation he gives here could have been put somewhere else in the movie and still use the original ending
Say what you all about this movie but at least a better recreation of the Cantina scene in Star Wars in the force awakens
I just watched this movie on Prime and this scene was not at the end. I was upset because I’ve seen the movie before with this ending so I had to prove to myself I wasn’t going crazy. So very glad I found this. Thank you.
The US/Canadian DVD editions of the film have this ending, it was a deleted scene restored just for that DVD, and it was reverted for Blu-Ray and streaming. The enhanced widescreen DTS version of the DVD should be the best edition if you can get that one.

The name of the song since 08:34 please ?
Unfortunately it's unreleased, it's by Vangelis but isn't on the album. Some people have tried to isolate the music though. I've seen people upload it under the name Megas Alexandros or Alexandria.
@@mangomation3945 thank you so much, i found it here on youtube, thank you thank you thank you
friendship ended with Phantom Blood, now Cybersix is my best friend
Cybersix has been my #1 since childhood lmao. This shit is a stone cold classic in Canada but unknown almost everywhere else. A staple of 2000s Teletoon reruns during those wee hours where most kids were off to bed but it still wasn't quite the 'detour' hours where they could show outright adult/edgy animation.
It would be interesting to have a perspective from someone who was involved in the editing. Perhaps this was the version originally presented to New Line Cinema but subjected to further trims ahead of release? Perhaps that master was stored and issued (maybe by accident) to TV stations?
It def. wasn't by accident as newspaper ads for the TV premiere boast of the film's extended runtime. As for if it was newly-prepared or just a pre-release New Line cut with TV censorship applied though, who knows.
Sometimes tv stations will show the uncut version to fill in the entire running time, New line is a disgrace for chopping up his movies because the movie was seemed to Asian for American audiences and but editing the crap out of it the movie becomes one big chase scene after another with no plot
José absolutely watches Tiktok... Also these memes should always be seen at 2x speed
José's 2x speed privileges were revoked after he failed yet again to capture Cybersix 😢
Very well, we shall stop talking about Cybersix, and start talking about cyberse--
Yup This Was Partially What Aided The Movie An NC-17 Rateing
