System Shock Enhanced Edition | AI without ethics | Questionably Explained
Your enthusiasm for the game is making me consider trying it out. Great video as always!
It's definitely worth a shot. As much as I don't like acknowledging times passage it is a certified classic at this point.
Oh Isabela... My darling Latina wifuu. 😮💨
My favorite video game of all time.
BTW there are 2 bow in the game but one is hidden with an easter egg quest. And you can also sort you bag if you double click on the icon above the mana bar.
40:55 that's a jaw harp making that sound.
Never heard of a jaw harp until now, what a funky little instrument. Thank you.
41:50 - This. This drives me *insane.* KotOR let you hack a terminal and get the entire map, with Ubisoft games its’ just a matter of accessing vantage points (save Far Cry 5), but Arx drives me crazy with the lack of ability to 100% the map as well.
With how much Capcom has grown over the years I'm super sure if they gave this an honest retry they'd have a really fun and charming series on their hands. I mean the bones and partial muscles for a new game are there already! Exoprimal! The potential here is very strong.
I would like to see them give Gotcha Force another go, but a part of me would be worried about what they could potentially do with a gacha game.
One of those lil guys looks suspiciously like Woody from Toy Story. Anyways, really enjoyed the video!
Just my two cents, but I think you could have switched the background music to some other track that fits the mood during the intro section instead of leaving it muted. Otherwise, great job! Really excited for the next one!
Yeah, in hindsight you're right. I probably should have stuck the bandit radio music in there or something.
God-tier phone edits. Fucking love this channel.
Fatal frame questionably explained coming soon??
Fatal frame is most definitely on the list, not sure when it'll be but it'll happen eventually.
hope the devs fix the rat problem so i can make a full playthrough with only rats
We gotta keep our fingers crossed 🤞🐀
Hey, dev here. Thanks for playing. Awesome review. We will definitely be adding some of the features you mentioned. We will also be adding more difficultly options in the future.
That's great to hear, I can't wait to see what you guys have in store. You've done a fantastic job so far.
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for the rat🤞🐀
Gabagool!

I love that RUclips doesn't seem to send me notifications for one of the only channels I actually bothered activating the bell. 5:35 - Is this a future Saints Row video tease :p? 6:00 - Have you seen the Netflix show? While it’s a part of the MCU, it is kind of is its own separate thing. 33:50 - Who knew tracksuits made for amazing body armor. 54:16 to 54:36 - That audio section out of context is um interesting... Another great video! *Bonk*
I haven't seen the show but it looks interesting. And yeah at least Saints Row 1 & 2 are an inevitability not sure when they'll be but it'll happen eventually.
Sad how some game features can ruin player expectations, because certain elements just tend to stay the same in games. I never continued playing Darkwood, despite greatly enjoying the atmosphere and overall game design, because I assumed that it would just adhere to the trope of increasingly worsening nightly attacks. The latter is a gameplay loop I simply don't enjoy, regardless of whether it's hard or not. Interesting to see that DW rather went for randomized events than constant assaults. I might have enjoyed the full game, those 8 or something years ago. Regarding 1:35, I share that appreciation of horror elements in media on a similar level. Not that I would call myself a "horror movie fan" or anything of the kind, cause it's not the associated tropes that I enjoy, but rather the elevated adventure experience created by things that horrify. Using horror efficiently as an added element to a story is something that usually works better for me than just a collection of tropes made "by the book". Darkwood seems to show that it's possible to create great horror just for its own sake, though.
For the algorithm
I appreciate that Dawg 👍
That's a pretty nice video, I didn't even realize that I was watching a video with 8 views
2:11 - Wait, so Bone Storm isn't just a Simpsons gag?! 3:52 - 10/10 voice acting, when are we getting the full audiobook? Great video, eagerly waiting for the next one! Also, glad I watched till the very last second .
I saw them honkers in the intro, I'm subbed boss. But I do like your style, imma stick around. Looking forward to your next videos.
I appreciate that, I really do.
Hahahaha I loved this game. I remember finding it by accident when pirating old games back in the day and it stuck with me until I eventually finished it.. on a bad laptop with just a trackpad.
Playing with a track pad is quite a feat
I feel like the intro in the remake is almost masterclass; it's pretty much a template that a game development company should use when truly showcasing the start of game. I got alot of Bioshock Infinite vibes from the re-made intro, and call me a loser or nerd if you want, but that pulse pounding updated soundtrack is perfection....sets the mood so well. Playing the remake now on PC, also makes me excited for Judas as well.
Please continue making these
I don't plan on stopping
FYI while the fast travel gate activating spell isn't in your spell book, it is in your journal. Not a great solution, but there you have it.
I completely missed that, dang
I've got to agree with you on how the game looks. It definitely has charm. (23:57 ) So the Gnoblins are pretty much the aliens from Signs? Also, the whole unceremonious deaths part gave me Giants: Citizen Kabuto flashbacks. Another banger of a video as usual!
Oh god I didn't even consider the Signs connection
Found you through your Arx Fatalis vid and I'm already a big fan of what you've been putting out so far. Really hope to see the channel explode soon.
Thank you kindly
Thanks for spreading the stopkillinggames message
Vids are real high quality, man. Keep going
Thanks, I really do appreciate that
How is the monstrous creature in the wall the biggest hommie?
i sometimes have to check the youtube channel name to make sure you aren't grimbeard
Grim is top tier stuff, so I'm gonna take that as a compliment.
14:05 Lmfao Skera wild
Brooooo, this video fucking SLAPS. well done man. Subbed
Thank you kindly, that means a lot
I used to play this game a long time ago. I like hanging around those snake ladies, hehe, good times. The way I beat this game is with the help of a walkthrough and cheats. And beating the final boss by summoning a big ass rat to fight it.
You are one of the only non british voices I look forward to in long form essays. Not sure if you are self conscious about it or not but your tone, pronunciation and timing are fantastic. You've got talent and a unique sound keep it up you're gonna make it
Thank you. I'm still kind of getting the hang of recording and making the audio actually listenable, which is a lot harder than i had thought it would be, lol. I really appreciate the kind words. It really does mean a lot to me.
<3
Very nice, much good work.
Thank you kindly
Darkwood is fantastic. It's surprising how hard it is to find horror games with great atmosphere like this.
I was suppose to comment on a another video about Darkwood that came out recently but since this is yet another video about it that got recommended to me I'll say it here I'm honestly surprised and amazed by how only now Darkwood is gaining some form traction from the people around the internet, nice to see people being interested in our little "dark fairy tale" I wonder if it'll make the community more alive because of it
I have seen a couple Darkwood videos pop up as of late, which is great. This game definitely deserves all the praise or gets.
I hate jump scares, so when you showed the footage around 1:50 I took off my headphones like the coward I am. Anyways, really enjoyed the video, 11/10 ending. Patiently waiting for the next one.
I feel you, bro! Hahahaha
Holy damn, so it is true that Darkwood video essays come out, like, weekly on average
Fr I just watched one like 3 days ago and another one a week or 2 before that lol
If you dug this games immersive inventory mechanics, you *NEED* to acquire a Meta Quest 2 or 3, and play the masterpiece Into the Radius. See habie or a wolf in vr's content on that game to see what I mean. You are VERY welcome. Love the content, brother!
The quest 3 has been tempting me, if I ever do get one I'll be sure to take a look at into the radius. Also glad to hear you're enjoying the videos.
I can't believe you didn't play the audio clip of her saying that she was "drunk with this power". It just encapsulates her early game mindset, familiarizing herself with her new AGI status.
Fantastic content, and you also get my vote for Sleepiest RUclipsr!
I'll take that title gladly. I'm happy to hear you're enjoying the videos!
I loved this game and I feel like it was ahead of it's time and I wish more games today were like it but with a hearty amount of polish that this game definitely lacked lol.
Isn’t this the series where it was hubcaps made with demon/ evil wizard tech that was driving the homeless people insane?
I'm pretty sure that's in the second one
Nice review! Seems like an interesting hidden gem of a game. I feel like I've heard of the title, but knew nothing about it. Now I'm curious to try it out. You've got a fun presentation and a nice dry sense of humor! Subscribed! Btw, what was that game clip at the very end of the video, right before the credits?! Looked very interesting.
The clip is from a game called Darkwood
Thanks for the vid
I thought YT was bugging out when I saw your low sub count... I clicked your page and was expecting to see 300k not 300! That's actually crazy. Well you got your 380 sub from me. 😎 Looking forward to your future my friend.
I appreciate that brother, thank you kindly
moarrrr!
It's curious that you mentioned "Adventure game DNA". A lot of old school RPGs were like this. Killing monsters as main "attraction", main game loop is sign of modern RPG. If you need recommendation Heuristic Park's Wizards&Warriors (2000). Word of advice if you'll decided to try it: if you stuck in geometry - don't panic. What can't be solved by buttons, can work via on-screen controls.
I'll add Wizards & Warriors to the list 👍
unlike morrowind, arx fatalis is actually good, even without Mods, Morrowind on the other hand... is a game that only works with hopes, dreams and spaghetti code. like many bethesda games, they got carried by their designer team, lore team and map designers. because the code of bethesda games is extremely dogshit.
Fully agree. This video's title is nonsensical.
