@Vdub what timing belt did you put on the pd130 engine was it for the t5 or are they both the same as i need to change my timing belt on my van but its got a pd130 engine in so i was wondering what timing belt i should order for it

Hiya , just done the same engine from 19tdidoctor in my t5 , can I ask why you changed the ecu ? Was it to make it run better , mines a bit flat in top after 3000 rpm

This is a VW engine it was fitted to VW Sharan, Seat Alhambra and Ford Galaxy which are all the same vehicle with different badges, it is well known for its long life and reliability it was fitted to many vehicles in the VAG family.

Hi there just about to do asz pd130 on my t5,just wondering what oil.filter housing did you.use,the engine I am fitting has the dome type oil filter housing I see I will have to modify fans and radiator to make it fit were you.able to change oil filter housing or did you use original.thanks

don't know the ford engines but the US ecoboost (?) engines have a bad pcv system . folks add an aftermarket catchcan which has a good oil/vapour seperator, stops engines failing early. sorry if not relevant to you.
