As I understand it, this was your clubs first Sprint Enduro and as far as loop 1 and 2 go, it was a pretty good time. I can't say anything about loop 3 since I didn't ride it. Too bad about the ambulance situation. Next time everything should go smoothly and thanks to the Viewfinders for stepping up and putting on a Sprint Enduro, this is my preferred type of racing.

Unfortunately not. Some of the club members were saying that it was a real sh!t show, so I elected not to try it, especially with the temps being up there, and I was riding an enduro on Sunday. Video of that coming soon.

I did 1 loop of #3 it was stupid to many riders in the way. I just wanted to show friends how bad it was.

I did not drill any holes, they came in the piston that way from Wiseco.

I've only been racing for a couple of years but that has been my favorite course so far, and I wasn't even competing on it since the Master class doesn't ride loop 3s. Makes me sad, but sometimes they let me ride them for fun.

Thank you kind Sir. This was up near Ridgecreast by the Wagon Wheel Staging area. Its a fun little area, I dig all of the alien looking rocks.

Loop 1 wasn't too too bad, but loop 2 I was definitely getting tired of them.

Well, it's like $30 for an AMA membership, another $32(?) for a racing license, and around $60 per race, so for $120-ish bucks, you're in.

Everyone knows that I love me some whoops, I comment about it constantly in the videos. Loop 3 was one of my top 5 fun loops.

The 83 valve is the same basic design but they are way different in size/shape.

I don't know about genius, practical maybe. Desperate for sure. I looked for one for 6 months before I decided to just make one.

This one was my '83 yz250. To be honest, I don't even notice that the arrows don't always show the correct angle of the turn. Maybe that's why I get lost sometimes......

@@greatscot5177 It seems to be a "new" thing... we use to mark out there the "angle" that the trail goes now everything is 90s....

@@502outdoors I don't know, I think for the most part they do a pretty good job, just every now and then you see a random bad marking. I usually hang ribbon but if I am putting up arrows I try to match the angle of the arrow to the angle of the turn. How would you rate Desert m.c.'s markings? That's where you'll see some of my work.

It wasn't quite the ride I was looking for but it was entertaining. I also ran out of gas 1 mile from the truck but fortunately I had some extra with me.

Yeah, disappointed that the ride didn't go to plan, but riding is riding, and it sure beats a day in the office! ;)

I used 6061-T6, but I don't think it matters that much as the factory one is cast aluminum. Just keep in mind that it might expand a little more than the cast.

Some of the guys said "You brought that old thing?" Well the last time I was up there was in '81 and I was riding a '76 yz250, so this year I was riding a "new" bike, compared to the old one. It made it, but I think some had their doubts.

@@greatscot5177 😂 I grew up riding 70s and 80s bikes so enjoy watching them still be ridden.

@@swedishrick377 Maybe it's just me but I've been riding these older bikes for so long that the two newer bikes I've owned feel weird to me. 07 wr450 and 06 xc525, I just don't feel confident on them.
