i like old videos like that they show how far chainsaws have come. i still think the old mccullochs pioneers and solo chainsaws are better they last longer than the new ones

it the past little girls were "throw aways", I believe it is changing for the most part in the cities. Little girls are often left in public places & taken to orphanages. The culture in china is that boys can provide for the family & with the 2 child policy if a family already has a girl & has another they're often abandoned, also in very rural areas families may not have the money to care for the child or the money for a birth permit, also required in China.

There is a strict one-child policy in China, and parents prefer to have boys because, in Chinese culture, the boys are usually responsible for taking care of the parents in their old age. (Once girls are married off, they generally take care of their husband's parents.) Thus, many girl children are abandoned at hospitals and orphanages so that the parents can keep trying for a son.

Thank you. Congrats to you on LID! When we adopted back in 2001 the wait went from 9 - 13 months. I thought that was a long wait. Since then we adopted our second daughter through the SN program with a small hole in her heart. The heart is healing on its own and she was 3 when we brought her home. The wait for SN...from the time we were approved to adopt her, three months! Amazingly fast! She is healthy and happy and beautiful! Email me if you want to talk SN. :) Cheri.

Thank you so much for your beautiful video. I don't know if you still read your comments or not, but I wanted to say that I stumbled upon your video and it has meant so much to me. We are LID March 20, 2007, and the wait will be at its highest. Watching your video helps keep me going. Thank you.
