We love to travel in our RV. Disability Travel is possible if you plan and take your time. You won't find us bungee jumping or white water rafting, but we do what we can. We really enjoy historical sites, small towns with little shops, especially antique shops. Our plan is to wake up in our RV and have coffee in as many places as we can. We also like things like video, photography, cooking with cast iron, and journal writing. Check it out!

Need to see pictures
Me and my wife are retired. And do a lot of things by our selves. It is now time to have fun. All our kids are grown and married. Having plenty of grand kids. We like art shows. We moved from Texas to be near our kids. It is not the same here. Not as many art shows. But it is fun going to some here. I am wheelchair bound. But can stand to get in my chair also. Not a paraplegic person either. I have a power chair similar to that one. Also a power chair that has huge motors that can go very far on a charge. It is amazing! We have a 2011 KIa Sorento. And my manual chair weights 26 pounds, we use it often. I do not have a porch yet so I cannot get my power chair out my home.
What an awesome stove find. Glad to see someone use it. Bring on the cooking!!
That chair seems pretty good. I never was sure about the power and strength of them so I just bought a "ultra light" manual chair. Those larger back wheels are nice. Here in Atlanta I never got a straight story from salesmen. They just wanted to push it on me. Love the channel. Subscribed 👍
We still love this chair, and it gets us out and about in a world where we were just staying home because she couldn't walk far enough to get anywhere. It has really opened the world up for us!
Great job 👍
New friend here subscription done huge thumbs up looks yummy stay connected
Thank you for sharing your video beautiful areas that you were in. May suggest the next time you’re in West Virginia. Find the address to Blackwater Falls in Davis, West Virginia. You will definitely like it there.
Best news I've seen all day 😊
I'm going to have to look into this, wondering if medicare will cover the cost. I can walk and stand but not for long, If I go into a store and they don't have shopping carts, I avoid that store because I need that cart to walk. I've had one surgery on my back but it didn't help.
We found that the only thing Medicare will cover is a basic, push type wheelchair. Since people buy things like cars, campers, boats and motorcycles, we felt it was worth paying the full cost ourselves. She is in a similar situation to you in that she can walk for short distances with a walker but needs this for longer walks. We had stopped going anywhere because she couldn't really do it. It improved my life as well because I was just staying home with her. Now we can go out together for extended periods. She has independent mobility, and I am not exhausted pushing a conventional wheelchair.
@@jeffdeeandthervRight. Medicare is a joke when it come to wheelchairs. So much red tape for a 60 pound manual chair. Too heavy to lift. We just bought my own electric chair and a Strongback ultra lite manual wheelchair 13 pounds I think. My wife can pick up with one hand. Great channel. Subscribed. You both be safe. God bless
Your video was a great help!! I didn't know which sites had trees for a slack line. Looking at a map and your video we found #61 to be perfect. Funny how things work out👍
Yaaaaaaaaaaay! Glad to help!
Good thing you mentioned you washed the other half. I was beginning to think you repainted it.
I always wanted a big fireplace to cook in. Like the big fireplaces in a Cracker Barrel. That looked so good.
While we have a wood stove at home installed in fireplace that we can cook in, a good way to get the chance is to go to a cabin somewhere for a few days and cook in theirs. This one is at Pipestem State Park in WV. We love doing this a lot!
Thanks so much!
Enjoyed seeing how to cook this way. I gave it a thumbs up, but RUclips didn't count it. So here's my 👍.
Too much bullshit show the product
One month late watching. I was wondering if you put the chicken in the dutch oven raw with the potatoes or if they were already cooked some?
In the video I mentioned that my wife had made the chicken earlier in the week and so it was already cooked. I put the chicken on top so it wouldn.t burn before the potatoes cooked. Worked out great!
@@jeffdeeandtherv I was wondering because it looked like a miracle camp fire dish. Everything you cooked look good. It kinda made me want to sit out by a camp fire and cook on a dutch oven.
There's quite a bit of cooking on the channel while my wife and I are in our camper. Check it out!
Truly frightening indeed, congrats for standing your ground when faced with such danger!
It was really surprising to say the least! hehehe! I stepped out the door, and here was this kitty at my feet that could have escaped in several directions, making sure I understood how tough it was. I had a corner of the house behind me, but I came through unscathed in spite of the ferocity of the little guy.
Thank You for the video
You are very welcome. We are thrilled that many are finding this helpful. We still love and are using this chair when we go out and travel!
Hope maybe one day i will have one
Loved it. Thank you for sharing.
Did you see Amanda's Mercantile booth?
The sheer size of the place makes it hard to remember a particular booth, but you may catch of glimpse of it in the video if we filming as we went by.
like 7 nice video
I donot see price on these power chairs don’t like you show chairs with no cost
We are not selling chairs, we are simply showing what this power chair does for our lives. A search on the internet will show you the prices and how to get one for yourself.
That's what google is used for
what's the point to scare kitten without need?
Some weird concept of likes, I guess. YT might have something to say about this! That is nothing less than animal cruelty!
Yeah the poor baby was petrified.
Are you 3 serious? In what sense is this animal abuse? All you had to do was go one comment down and the poster even admits that there are a few feral kittens and this one backed him into a corner, the kitten had 3 different directions that it could run in but instead it continued to advance, this isn't animal abuse, it's an overly hostile and ballsy kitten, grow up and get off the internet
@@bigglesofthebean4222 Oh well, now that you put it that way.... I'll be sure to be TERRIFIED of the next feral KITTEN I see. Thanks for the heads up! 🙀😿😾😺😸😅😂🤣😁 ROFLMAO!!!! MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYOOOWWWWWW
@BlondieSL ok, cool, so you completely missed the point, the point was that the kitten wasn't scared, no hands were laid on it and instead of running it held its ground but of course I'm not surprised that somebody with a rainbow pfp would scream victim without proper context
This is a wonderful video!!!!!!
Those tiny hisses lol
Every time we see these feral kittens, the other 3 scatter while this one just stands and does this. While filming I actually had my back to a corner of the house while the kitten could have run in 3 different directions at any time. Sure is a gutsy little puff ball!
Awww cute little fella. Hope he it’s she is ok. And on Another note, is this sound track from Armored Core?
This kitten is doing fine it appears, the mother is feral and all the kittens are even more skittish than she is. They are being fed and given water and a warm place to sleep. The music is listed in the description and is part of the music available on from RUclips.
Buying my mom one this week. Cant wait to change her life ❤
Excellent! Dee loves hers, and it has opened us up to travel and not be cooped up at the house!
Great VIDEO...
You guys are the coolest! Keep up the great work
Thanks so much for the comment! We wanted to travel in retirement, even though Dee is handicapped. The camper works well since we can set up for a couple of weeks and live there, and we go out when Dee is able. We take other trips too when we can. Again, thanks!
Hi there very first video I’m watching of yours. I have subscribed. I love the green color on the chair. It looks great. Great video. Thanks for making this video.
Thanks for commenting! Dee's chair has opened our lives up to go out and travel again. It has done a lot for me too, since I was staying home with her and not going anywhere either. Mobility rocks!
Full 1/2 of the video rodeo was not worth watching.
The doe is giving her baby a bath.
I have been watching all your videos, please keep up the good work! My wife was born a couple hundred feet off the Pipestem State Park boundary and was one of the very first state employees there. Both of us worked there many years and now reside in FL (up here visiting right now). The Hill Cemetery has always meant a lot to us and we know several of the wonderful people interred there. My wife's best friend from grade school to today has a stone that was featured in your video, Connie Hill Ray. Hopefully it will be many years before that stone will have another date engraved on it. Thanks for all you do! Doug Ritchey
So glad we were able to show some of your history! Thanks for the comment and for watching. I hope you have a wonderful visit back home!

google works great, not that hard to use
I loved North Bend as a kid. We camped there all the time in the old jug or jug handle campground-whatever it was called. Spent several Christmases in the cabins as well! ❤
The Cokely campground is becoming one of our favorites!
Nice Musik 👍
at 2:14 there is a dude pissing in the woods outside of the window LOL
I watch a lot of rv channels and I’m surprised I haven’t stumbled across yours. I will be subscribing. What brought me to your channel was your new Eagle Hd. I have a very similar situation. Are you still happy with your purchase. I have looked at Forcemech, Porto Mobility’s Ranger and yours. It for my daughter who has CP. For us, it is impossible to take her primary electric chair with us on vacation due to its enormous weight and as you know there is nothing like independence. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Yes, we are still thrilled with our purchase. It has opened up the world to us. Dee was staying home all the time, and since I want to be with her, I was too. Not only does it make it possible to get her out more, it also has made me more active taking her. Independence is an overused word I guess, but the simple thing of me pushing her manual chair past things she wanted to see on a shelf, compared to her positioning herself exactly where she can see it is HUGE. Still thrilled. Hope you get exactly what you need. It will open the world up to you both!
Thank you! My daughter is 35 and completely disabled. My wife and I love to Rv and would like to take her with us. Thanks again for your help.
@@Hww30152 Glad to be of service! There are videos of us on the channel using the chair at campgrounds, handicap trails and other places. It needs to be paved, but many around here are. The chair always goes with us! Enjoy your travels!
😊😊😊
We love little whimsical stuff like this!
Hi to you and your wife from me and Bailey
Thanks for for the shout out! Hope everything is going well. Do you travel much? We've found we can still travel now that we got Dee's light weight wheel chair.
@@jeffdeeandtherv that’s awesome we don’t but we live in Naples Florida if your ever near swfl let us know we will get together
Beautiful doe & her fawn. Thanks for sharing with everyone!
Very cute! 😊
Can hardly hear a word you are saying...
I can bring a Mobility Pride scooter easily in my car but it has such terrible off road capability, i can't use it on grass or anything remotely rough. Does this chair work well on grass or a dirt road? Is it easy to say get off to list it over a kurb?
Hey, thanks for your comment. After using this chair for over a year, I can say we love it and it has opened up the world to us. So far, wheelchairs that are lightweight, compact and also off road haven't been invented yet as far as I know. Cars that are designed for off road use are nothing like the lightweight compact cars that ply the roads. I think the back wheels would handle some firmer gravel surfaces, but the small front wheels will bury up in loose gravel, sand or unlevel grassy areas. So far I have been around to help by pushing her to safety, but we have learned where we can go and what to stay away from. We spend quite a bit of time camping and using the chair, as our other videos will show, but we really need paved areas for effective and safe operation. Any off road type of chairs we've seen would need a truck, trailer or large van to haul around. Since we are really 'glamping' and towing a 30 foot travel trailer with our truck, we don't have the space or weight to spare on a 300 pound off road type of vehicle and the ramps to get it on and off the truck. For off road, I would suggest a conventional 4 wheeler or side-by-side. Dee has problems with being in the sun for very long, so we are probably not doing that anytime soon. Again, thanks for the comment, and I hope you find the mobility you are looking for!
VERY NICE CHAIR 👍👍@@jeffdeeandtherv
Hey where are y’all from here in WV? Wheeling here.
A bit south of you. Between Charleston & Huntington.
Looking forward to seeing your adventures on your channel!
@@jeffdeeandtherv I use to go to the drag strip in college that way and been all over the State growing up and try to continue that with my family now. I have friends who live in Hurricane.
Thank you so much! I'm so touched. ❤
One of the beauty of nature, good
Talk about that McKenna pie
I do not think I cared for the backing up trip. Be careful
The wide angle camera is mounted on the ladder on the very back of the camper very near the other lane so the trucks are only a few feet away. Looks dangerous, but I assure you we are taking all the necessary safety precautions for towing and travel. Thanks for commenting!
Thank you for the excellent video, just made our reservation for July!
So happy we were able to help! We stayed a couple of weeks at Cokely and have another 2 weeks scheduled for this year! Have a great time!
