Peel the potatoes from their skins

Backi in tge 50's when I was growing up, we had "Eggs in a Basket." Just cut the round hole out of a slice of bread, put the bread in a buttered pan to toast a bit, then put an egg in the center of the hole....let the egg set a bit , then flip over....YUMMY!!! (and dip the "toasted hole" into the egg!)
