Did you receive in local post office or it is sent to your apartment?
we used our address in our apartment. if you're not yet there when your luggage arrives, it will be just automatically delivered to the nearest post, and you can claim it there.@@小事-v5y

Of course, there are room images. And in the PSOAS site, they even provide the layout of the apartment and the room area in square meters.

Hi! I would like to ask what if I answered no to this field - Are you applying for a residence permit for a period of time that is different from the duration of your studies? Does it have an effect with the validity of my RP? Am I not permitted to enter Finland before my studies begin? Thank you so much!
Yes. Because I did the same previously. And my RP validity was the same as my first day in the Uni, which is September 1st. And you're not allowed to enter Finland earlier than the first day of your RP's validity. That's why I recommended that you put a date maybe 3 days prior to the first day of class (your insurance should also be valid on these days) so that you could settle comfortably and familiarize the place prior to the class proper.

@@lc9098 I don't know, tbh. You can try and email them to inquire. But as for us, we just opted to purchase a ticket within the RP period.

What if my residence card is valid on for example Sep 28th, can I book a flight dated Sep 27th (a 32hr flight from Manila to Finland)? Will the immigration allow me to board? I am just worried due to a large number of offload incidents that's why I wanted it confirm it first with you. Thanks again. 😊

1. You may inquire on their respective sites about that. 2. Yes, it's possible. Still, it's better to ask them (thru call or email maybe) just to be sure.

Thank you so much for this very informative video 🙂 I also received this scholarship for the 2023 Intake and I'm from Sri Lanka. I have some things to get clarified from you. Is it essential to get our degree certificate attested by foreign ministry here (legalization)? Or just submitting the scanned copy of original degree certificate to enterfinland is enough? Because I still haven't done it since the EMJM promise procedure is almost online and we were asked to bring originals to oulu. I have the vfs appointment on 22nd May in India.
It is better to do the legalization process if possible, especially if your degree certificate is not in English. I have not really used the legalized (apostilled) one both in Finland and here in Austria, but we are still not sure if it is needed in Chile and Croatia. So better be sure. But if you base it on our experience thus far, it is not needed.

It was mailed to my home address. The costs you paid for to get the residence permit includes the shipping fee

It's part of the program, along with the monthly stipend. No need to purchase it yourself :)
