Просмотров 766 лет назад
Hey everyone, This is a video of me experimenting with Mona Lisa Odorless paint thinner and Faber Castell Polychromos colored pencil. So far I'm not sure I care much for the thinner but I'm still experimenting with it. It seem to darken a little more than I cared for but I will experiment with some more. However the Polychromos pencils are wonderful. So I hope you enjoy this colored pencil art....

How To Paint Watercolor Bird in the Flower Garden
Boring! You could at least say your colors but better say what you expect them to do! I had to bail!
Why don’t u hydro dip it that’s a tip for ya
There won't be anything you can't paint with those colors.
Thanks 😊
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Best paints on the market as far as I'm concerned. Great job! I'm so glad to see someone actually using the paints instead of all these swatches that don't tell anyone anything about the paints. Thanks.
Omg a RUclipsr who actually paints and isn't limited to making commercials swatching colors; Shocking. I'll subscribe.
I use them for all my pastel art work. They are perfect for me.
How come we the netherlands have 75 ml and in Amerika got the 118 ml liquitex basics acrylic paint tubes ? I don,t understand
Can you use these on canvas?
Yes
ruclips.net/video/Fof4VL3RoSM/видео.html hey please do watch share and subscribe this link channel may u love my art too
Thank you! I have the full set, never used them. I will have to swatch them.
What is your accent? Southern USA but also East coast New Foundland Canada?
Nice i like the way U paint 🐈
I got this set and love the colors so much
You did a great job, thank you;)
Are these similar to panpastels?
No. Pan pastels are like a face powder that is no in a compact.
SRFinSLO oh ok! Thank you!
I’d love for you to review those papers and brushes, have been considering purchasing them all :)
Very cute. After watching a wee bit it dawned on me that you must have seen the exact same picture that I did of a red-breasted nut-hatch. I scrolled through my phone pics that I have saved and sure enough, there was the snap shot I had taken of this picture I had seen online. I haven't finished mine yet, I kinda got to a point where I wasn't sure quite how I wanted to proceed, but you have given me renewed inspiration to go back and pick it up again and try to finish it out. Keep up the good work :)
Thanks for the video 👍 the problem is that i'm addicted to your accent now.
Helpful!
I wasn’t too sure about this at first but I followed along and I was very pleased with my end result! Thank you!
What palette are you using for your M. Graham paints?
Your lighting is hella yellow/warm for a color swatching video, yikes
I love Stabilo Carbothello pencils and wish I had discovered them before I invested in so many colored pencils. I am switching to pastels, and need more supplies, particularly these pencils. They lay down so soft and smoothly and blend beautifully. Prefer them over Pitt pastel pencils by Faber Castell, but that is just my preference. I want to eventually get full set of Stabilo.
Is your location Brazil, Alaska or Canada? I don’t get it???
The locations are where the minerals were mined from. Primatek does not use traditional pigments but instead uses minerals (Jadeite, Hematite, etc)
I love your accent ❤
They can’t do dot cards because of the consistency. It might roll off the card!
Can't wait to get these in the mail!!!! 😁 Single 5ml tubes are dramatically expressive of the winser & Newtown watercolors
Are these oil pastels?
kristine Kerr Hey, Kristine these are all chalk pastels.
@@bluewillowfineart9073 These are what is called a Soft pastel" as opposed to an oil pastel.
This is such a beautiful picture
looks great, I've recently tried M.Graham watercolours and theyre so bright and vibrant.
I agree with you Penholder Art they are very bright. I'm very Impressed with M.Graham watercolors and it seems that they last a little longer.
Very creative haul!
Thank you Very Much Amy McLean!
This is really pretty! What kind and size is that 1st brush that you are using? Thank you for sharing!
Thank you very much! The very first brush is a creative mark mimik flat and the size is a 3/4. The second brush that is I use is a creative mark mimik round and the size is 30. Hope that helps! :-)
Thank you for the video.
Your Very Welcome Kathy! :-)
i own almost 60 colors in M.graham also multiple colors from daniel smith, sennelier ,davinci ,etc.i found M.graham is the most fluid ,intense WC i used, but it has some weaknesses ,some colors are pretty weak say for example their raw umber and burnt sienna are pretty weak, also their transparent orange and yellow iron oxides, all these colors are excellent in daniel smith. but some outstanding colors in MG.indian yellow (PY110),Azo yellow(PY153)dioaxaxine purple(Mine is PV37 instead of PV23)PV 37 is more lightfast than P23(fugitive),Azo green(PY129)all quinacridones and all cadmiums and ultramarine(PB29)also their cobalt teal PB28 in fact its cobalt blue pigment is beautiful than danielsmith traditional PG50 cobalt teal.
That's an awesome amount of watercolors to have. I have some of the Sennelier that I haven't tried yet but I haven't tried the Davinci set of watercolors. Sathish, I don't have the Daniel Smith cobalt teal but I do love the MG cobalt teal. Thanks for the comment! :-)
I love this painting ,it makes me want to try water colors,I will be watching more of you videos ,they are very beautiful and God bless you.
Thanks, Cat Jeffers If you havent ever tried them than I say give it a try. I can honestly say I was more into acrylic painting and thought I would never try watercolors.. but I tried them and paint more in watercolors than anything else. Just make sure you get a good paper when starting out it can make a world of difference when using watercolors.
Love this flower
Thanks Cat Jeffers! :-)
PB27. Prussian Blue??
Hey, Bunny Bgood that is correct the Prussian Blue is pigment: Ferriammonium Ferrocyanide (PB 27)
Where did you buy this 120 set from? How much did it cost? And if you dont mind me asking, where is your accent from?
Hey Tiffanyveng, I bought the pencils at Amazon and I added a link in the description below to the ones I bought. I paid closer to 200.00 dollars but the ones in the link are a little cheaper than what I paid for mine. Lol, I'm from the United States and from Tennessee. I guess I have the southern accent. Hope this helps.. they are lovely pencils.
Blue Willow Fine Art That's awesome! Greetings from Knoxville, TN!!! I have been debating on whether or not to get the polychromos or albrecht durer. At the Jerrys Artarama in Knoxville (not the big website company) the polychromos is on sale for $161 for the 120 set. But on amazon the 120 set of albrecht durer is $169. Those are the cheapest I have found so far. But I am still looking for the best deal. Thanks for the reply!
Hey that's a great price for them. I've been to the other craft box stores in Knoxville but I haven't been to Jerrys. Either way a good buy! Have a nice day! :-)
I love your accent! Thanks for the review 🤗 I love these paints.
Aww Thanks! I love these paints as well, they are very pigmented watercolor paints.
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Your Very welcome!
The colors that you've used are so beautiful together!
Thank you very much!
Also, maybe try masking fluid or frisket for the houses and horses, that way you can use bigger strokes for your background (hills & sky). Great video, tfs!
Thanks, I may try that next time.
Is the Fluid paper comparable to Arches? Which do you like better. I prefer paper that stays damp longer. I painted with Canson xl and hate it because when I lay down color dries so quickly.
I have also tried Canson xl and don't like it. As for a comparison I have found nothing to be like Arches. The Fluid 100 300lb isn't a bad paper. I find that it does dry fast and doesn't stay as damp as Arches does. It did not buckle and is a less expensive option. Its going to depend on personal preference. Fabriano Artistic is a great paper and less expensive but I find Arches is the best paper. I guess it depends on budget and personal preference. I would buy the paper again due to the price point compared to the quality.
I would love to see you swatch out your m. Graham colors. I have been eyeballing them for a while but cannot bring myself to pay that amount. No store close to me carries the tubes!😣 also, I would love to see the brushes in action too. I have 2 wn cotman brushes right now. And one davinci cosmotop mix. I hate it. Lovely video
Hey, Kelly I sure will have to do one. I have two more colors ordered and than Ill do one. I completely understand they are expensive. I don't have a store around me either that has the artist quality paints. I actually ordered some of mine off eBay from a gentleman that had used them for a class he was taking. He had used a pea size amount out of them and I didn't pay full price for them but it helped me get the product at a better price point. You might want to keep an eye out for a deal like that also. Thanks so much.
Jessica Rose Painting and Crafts After writing that comment I got two tubes of Sennelier. ☺ My local art store had them tucked away in the back. It is my first experience with honey based paint! I will need a few more to really understand how they behave and if I like them. I mostly use my half pans of Schmincke. I will keep my eye out though for any good deals. I look forward to seeing more of your videos! Happy New Year.
That's great that you found two. I have a few of those on the way too. I found them on sale so I bought them, its a basic color set of 5. I'm sure they are a great paint. I have always heard good things about them.
sorry i cant hear you
Sorry about that. I since then have learned to edit my sound and adjust it in the editing process.
Wow this is such a pretty flower! Definitely subscribing!😍
Wow, I absolutely love this and will definitely try that blending technique!! Thank you Jessica!
