Sounds so sweet

We had a 82 Seagrave Partial Open Cab. 6 cyl Detroit with Jake 5 speed and it was open exhaust. It sounded like this but a little different. I miss that old Engine especially riding standing up in the warmer months.

I have the same problem and I showed the sound to the service. They couldn’t solve or diagnose the problem. Do you have it repaired? Or how? Thanks.

Open cab. Rain can hit BOTH sides of the windshield.

Why is there windshield wipers on the inside ? - is it because of Moisture foggin up the Windshield

@ad356 not to mention then i had to go out and find a qa42 snowblower attachment, granted they arent that hard to find but i still had to go get it and bring it home.

@Olddog231 lazy, lol. first i had to get the tractor home. i had to remove and fully rebuild the engine that was 40 years old. i had to rebuild the carburetor, front steering, and rewire the tractor... this is hardly what i would call lazy. lazy would be going to a dealer and plunking down 6-8K for the latest cheaply built piece of crap.

no siren required, the engines all you need to get there attention :D

thats nothing that i cant do with my 40 year old garden tractor, with less struggle i might add. i probably paid less for that tractor, the snowblower, the chains, weights, ect and still had a few bucks to spend on a mower deck and tiller. i use it year round i might add. my tractor will move snow faster, easier, and i get to sit down as well. the 12 hp kohler k301 is a stout engine as well(cast iron block). a newer cub cadet is just another MTD

Well, seeings its mounted to much more powerful LED's, I think it's hanging on it s own, Nice addition actually, gives it some of sequence patterns, kinda catchy to the eyes.

my dept has a 1960 international it runs sumtimes but it still pumps like a beast

the Greek letter delta (equivalent to our letter D) is a triangle, and this light also has a trianglular design.

what were seeing here is the correct operation of a detroit diesel. release clutch, floor accelerator, shift gears, repeat!

my firehall's 77 seagrave is still in service and sounds just like this lol the jake brake is my favorite part tho

This sounds EXACTLY like my 1980 crown school bus that i rode in high school....minus the jake brakes. It is still in operation....Pajaro Valley Unified SD in Watsonville, ca.....Bus 107

Hey speaking of Harmonville, my company was fortunate enough to have their 1947 Maxim donated to us back in the 70's. We sold it to a collector in NJ who was planning on putting together a museum. Does anyone happen to know where it is now or what condition its in?
