Wow, Beedrill is a really interesting choice for your main! I think I always ended up using Alakazam or Kadabra in every game I played

@@paintingbeaver You can get a Weedle in Viridian forest, relatively early in the game, while Abra is later down the road, and Kadabra must be traded to evolve into Alakazam. Also using psychic is kind of cheating in gen 1, it does not have the Dark type counter yet :D . But obtaining Mew via a glitch is also, so I am not judging :)

I totally agree, it does feel like cheating, but Alakazam and Gengar are my all-time favorites, so I can't resist using them whenever they’re in the game!
