Duane Eddy lick a' la "Summertime Blues"
Thanks for posting. I just got one and it records A/V well but I cannot get it to playback on my PC & Laptop both WIN 11. I'm not using for live monitor. Tried both USB & HDMI and the computers do not recognize the ZOOM input. WTH. I read the manual 3 times & getting nowhere. Well at least yours is working.
More articulate across the tone range. You’re right tho. That amp castrates the tone.
Hi Sherman - diminished chords also have a minor 3rd in addition to flat V. Would like to see a longer video on the topic though!
I have this same amp and didn't know it would fit in the overhead of the plane. Good to know. I love the Delta king 12. Onboard OD and Reverb. I just carry a tuner, the Strymon Flint and El Capistan in my guitar gig bag. You got one sweet tone coming out of that rig! Loving the your playing and tone.
You just made my day! Thanks a million and happy new year
Not sure about in person but they don’t sound much different than the originals from here!!!
He done ripped his britches !!
All us 70's kids had that toy, and all us 70's kids destroyed it, just like that!
YES !!!
Is that the stock Fender bridge pickup? Thanks ☺️
Yes, it is!
I first heard these pickups in 1972, in a then new Starcaster. Hated the guitar. Hated the pickups. I thought the guitar was a grotesque distortion of an ES335, and the pickups were unbearably strident. (Bear in mind that the only guitar I had been playing at that point was a '61 SG Les Paul. Fast forward 52 years (sure feels that way), and I noticed the Squire Starcasters here on You Tube. Just as ugly as I remembered. But then, the more I looked at them, the more they started to grow on me. Before I knew what happened, I just had to have one. I was concerned about those pickups though, so I made sure I'd be able to get mounting rings that would fit standard humbuckers. Maybe these new ones wouldn't be as harsh. Bought the blond modern player. Really liked it. But then, I started listening to videos of the cunife pickups, and decided I might have been too hasty. The more I listened, the more I knew I just HAD to have them. Problem is, I'd come to like the stock ones better than just about any humbucker I own. Only thing to do was to buy another (the tobacco burst). So, now I have two of the guitars I once hated. Unfortunately, before I could scrape together the money for replacement pickups, I came across a killer deal on a Contemporary Active Starcaster (I think they call the finish 'gunmetal'). So now I THREE Starcasters. I love that one as well, however, believe it or not, in my 59 years of playing I've never played anything with active pickups, and those I truly hate! I'm in the process of replacing them with a set of passive mini humbuckers. The cunifes come next. Am in the process of comparing the various options (hence finding the vid), but I'm sure if I buy anything BUT real Fenders, I'll just and up replacing them later, so might as well bite the bullet now. (Just have to show my wife that I'm keeping an open mind and performing my due diligence). Oh yeah, those mini buckers came from my Tele Deluxe, and replaced the stock P90s. They are getting a new set of Firebird units. If I spent as much time practicing as messing with my hardware, I might actually be a competent musician!
You look so young Mat!
Not
thanks so much!
@@nid1600 you bet!
I’ve seen it. It is pretty terrible.
Thanks, interesting demo, especially the compressor tip👍
@@bananafist1 Thank YOU!
Nice 🎉
Thanks 🤗
Can't hear what you're saying. Pickup sounds great though.
Thanks! I’ll do better next time
Nice
Thanks

🤦
Mine isn't quite as old...it's an '01. Next year marks my 60th year playing a guitar and in all those years I've had a lot of them, some good and some very bad. My '01 is my #1 guitar for all my club work and concerts. Bond well!
Jerry was calm and direct...i loved Jerry despite his many flaws...
Actually some crirics who have seen it say its very brave, and not a 'bad picture' (see wikipedia page!)
You should have mentioned the 8hr battery. This makes is so convenient to take your finger style guitar sound to a jam of flatpickers. There are no wires to plug in (I have a wireless output rig) and you can just blend in with the other guitars, plus take advantage of the effects.
Amazing. Thanks for watching
🤔 So What amp are you using?
Thanks for watching. The amp is a Mercury Magnetics build based on an Epiphone Valve Junior through a WGS 12 alnico
Still one of my favorite guitar players
“I’ll tell you how it ends” 😂😂😂
All these positive reviews are nice to see but a search on Google "Noise Spark Mini" will give you a complete other view on this product. Mine arrived yesterday and every loud tone I play, there is a kind of weird noise that fades out after +/- 1 sec. Unplayeble with this problem, it's the most enoying sound i've heard from an amp in this pricerange. Think twice because after reading these forums, it's clear to me that the customer service isn't good either and the anwser to this problem was: All modeling speakers got this problem, we fixed it the best we could. .
Great review and demo. I just ordered one specifically for an acoustic electric guitar I’m taking on a trip in a few weeks.
Thanks, and have fun!
Bless ! Everyone wants to be Keef !
I sure do😀
Liked. Q: For a church small group in a living room with about 20 people where normally one single decent acoustic guitar works fine, would this be adequate to add to the volume - say sound as loud as adding another acoustic guitar so that it is like 2 acoustics in the living room? Thanks.
That’s what I’m thinking
Hoping the Spark go can keep up with acoustic, busker's on the move...
thank you for the video and info
Thanks for watching! I’m gonna play this thing tonight, haven’t thought about it in a minute
I just got one for my semi. Need a setup to jam in the truck. As a fellow tech troglodyte, I'm glad to see I'm not alone.
Hilarious
Just bought one. I have a few amps and guitars, but I'm 70 years old and not a performer. I play for me, for my enjoyment.
Gotta kick out of the Stubbs and Renfro height comparison! Grew up in Texas, living in Louisiana now, but still Texan in my heart! Thanks for the video!
Thanks, Amigo!
Dude, I went to Viner's Music Store in downtown Bangor, Maine during that same time frame (early 70's) and you'd best believe I bought that same book and the Hot Rocks album. Tried to absorb all that Richards/Taylor energy/vibe. Etc.
And I'm still trying, 50 years later ... Time waits for no one, I suppose
Right! Lol

You’re my hero!
Presumably originally Boston Strangler obviously they couldn’t sing that.
Yup its a loose biography of desalvo...
He was always a self congratulatory rude angry man with an over inflated belief in his own self worth.
He was a man who suffered from an endless list of diseases that he managed to win them all! He was a man who suffered chronic spinal pain from 1965 until the end of his life! He underwent two very delicate operations on his spine, he won cancer, pulmonary fibrosis, diabetes, had a coronal bypass, suffered two heart attacks, was declared dead for twelve very long seconds. At the time of this interview, he hardly heard any more, hardly saw any more, hardly walked any more, SPENT THE NIGHT ATTACHED TO AN OXYGEN CYLINDER TO BREATHE! He had lost ALL his closest friends, lived ONLY to stay as long as possible next to his second wife and his daughter. He had a talent that you MEDIOCRE AMERICANS can only dream of! You have grown weary with your criticism of a man you are not even worthy of tying your shoes. Put yourself in HIS shoes and you will see that you would not be able to do a thousandth of the same things and endure nothing of what he had to endure!
Very cool to hear him be so honest, especially in the later part of his life.
He has always been honest. But the Americans can't understand it. Jerry has always been honest and all too sincere, and has often paid dearly for his sincerity. He NEVER hid himself from the eyes of his audience. For better or for worse.
I would have to say while MSG ==Ya- Ya's was awesome the premiere version would have to be Ladies And Gentleman 1972 ruclips.net/video/NHZeBKfoNEc/видео.html with Marquee Club a close second.
It is amazing to me how at times he could be very pleasant and down to earth and at times not. A very complex person.
Pills?

so was it about Marcel Marcaue? is the only question i have about it. as that is the only question relevant to me as i knew both men i was a boy and all three of us were alive. (I never met the two men, but as he says IF done Correctly or better would have been a GREAT tribute to Marcel if it was true. (sorry for mis-spelling The great Mimes' name but didn't want to spell check. just post while the passion was welled up within me.
One of the greatest cinematic observations of all time , complete with sausage.
Does this help control the volume for playing at lower bedroom levels? or still too loud. I have a hot rod deville 212 that is just way too loud, cant get past 2 on clean channel
Hey brother I remember those "fakebooks" I bought them too, and they were always dead wrong. THey seemed to love to put stuff in crazy keys like Eb. I rarely found one that was right. I lived in Columbus Ga in 65 and we used to go to this record shop that sold old 45s from the jukes. Very cheap. And they had all the Chess Checker, Jimmy Reed, you name it. They also had stones. Really this was befreo Satisfaction and people may not belive it, but they wewrent that popular. It was still the Searchers, Dave Clark, BEATLES, Hermans Hermits, but my favorite was the Zombies!
E flat!!!! Hah!
The Wienie King! 😂
