    How many people survive this surgery ?

    • @hsconnectorg
      @hsconnectorg 5 месяцев назад

      I don't personally know of anyone who hasn't survived. HS surgeries are typically safe and we've known so many patients who have undergone HS surgeries! There are varying levels of complexity in surgeries, so talking with your doctor about what's right for you is always the best way to go!

Currently on my third lot of antibiotics. Making me feel very miserable, thank you so much for sharing. We are united x

      @@virgo1860 I haven't had it personally, but from what I understand from those who have, it doesn't hurt much more than a bad flare. I've had other surgical procedures and would say the same for those!

    I have had HS since I was 10 years old so 45/46 years. I am now in stage 3 and it has been so wonderful to see so many stories and support for HS sufferers. I spent so many years living in silence and pain and I have just recently (since I turned 50 in. 2018) been more open about it (probably due to menopause Lol) I applaud you all for everything you are doing to break the chains of shame and to help all of us live a better life while having this horrible condition. Currently, I am on a zero carb diet and seeing some results. Definitely reversed my BP, Triglycerides, and lowered my A1C and insulin levels. It has only been 45 days, but I'm so excited to see what happens next. Thank you a thousand times!!!❤❤❤

    Just found this video. I’m crying so much because I’m in so much pain. My HS has worsened for this 4th pregnancy. I have a bump in a very very sensitive area down there and I can’t even sit. I don’t know what to do. I got an antibiotic ointment from my Obgyn but I’m currently in the moving process out of state. I’m so bummed out. Does anyone know any temporary holistic home remedies I can do ?? 😞

    I'm so glad i found your podcast. I've had HS (undiagnosed) since I was 15. It was pretty mild, like usually one or 2 a month, usually during my menstrual cycle. I was terrified to go to the doctor because I didn't know what it was, I was afraid to be naked in front of anyone. I didn't actually address it until I was pregnant, when I was 30. I mentioned it to my OBGYN. Buy it was 2 years later when I had a really painful one under my breasts, and I went to a dermatologist. She lanced it (most painful experience ever) and tested it for MRSA. That came back negative, and she was like, "Well, looks like you were right. It's HS. " I never went back to her, and I've never been treated for it. I just live with it. I don't like talking about it with anyone. I think I can now really about it with others here.

It now makes so much sense to me. I had never heard of HS. After researching (RUclips) just knowing a name for whats going on with my skin is a hugh relief in itself. Thanks for the info.
