Hey, nice video. Can I ask you something? When making this key, how do you turn on the car, I know that every car key has a code, so you can start the engine then. How do you go around that? Or did you plan to use this key just to open doors, and then the other key to start the engine?
a 95 miata doesn’t use a code…. codes didn’t start being used until early 2000s :) so yea you can still start the car with a key like that. you just can’t do this for a key that has a immobilizer

It’s crazy how many new vehicles have been getting either recalled or having a massive issues on them. Idk what changed in the last 8 years but it seems like increasingly higher than before.

@@qerbeynintendo yeah I noticed the quality dip especially on Chevys Truck. It’s sad they focused on mass production and upcharging for lesser quality.
For Stellantis/Chrysler/Ram nothing has changed. Same old shit.

You did a great job on the top. How is it holding up 2 years later? Any leaks? When you have to mount it on the inside by the seats I hear you have to remove an interior side panel or cut it, is that the case? Please show us how you installed those lights too. That is awesome!
I have had no leaks just when you install the window seals make shure u do them nice and tight
We’re all the seals included with the top purchase or did you have to go elsewhere? Also, not where it attaches in the top but on the sides of the car behind the doors do you have to drill any holes in panels or remove any of the interior to attach that bolt to secure the top? I just don’t wanna mess up my interior.

I’m pretty shure if you stick it in warm weather or heat it up it should alwready be bonded when it’s cold
