I remember playing Demon's Souls first a long time ago on the PS3 when it was new. Liked it. Didn't get far. Then years later, I bought Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2. Still, I didn't get far or play much of them. It wasn't until recently this month I bought Bloodborne, Elden Ring, Sekiro and Dark Souls 3. For a while, I've been stuck playing a lot of retro games because I've been a gamer since the late 80s. Now that I have all the Soulsborne games, I'm willing to give them another try. I love hard games, so I guess the Soulsborne series are right up my alley.

I've been a big fan of the gatling barrage while running the punisher plasma. The heavy stagger on the punisher makes it easy to keep enemies in the AOE and it's low CD makes it very spammable for basically any encounter. It's moderately nice on kill missions like this one just because it picks off most of the light enemies at chock-points and can even finish off tanks or hulks!

I would personally suggest Elden Ring or DS3 before Bloodborne, since BB can be very punishing to new players, especially in terms of Blood Vial and Bullet Farming. Especially when they dont know about say the cum dungeon. I played ER, Sekiro, BB, DS3, DS1, DS2. By the time I came to BB, shit did not phase me, and ER, Sekiro just push aggression and BB just takes the next level of aggression. However a newcomer to BB would be afraid of Cleric, afraid of Gascgoine, afraid of BSB, and ay defensive and get rekt. In ER they will also get rekt, byt the replenishing healing just makes retries less agonizing imo. Thats just my 2 cents. Great video!

Why on earth would you ever spend actual money on a warbond? They might as well not even charge anything for them, you can earn enough credits to buy them by barely playing the game at all.

Sickle, grenade pistol, stun grenade. Everything else adjusts to mission type.

With the exception of the autocannon this is similar to a build i was running for a while. It is a cool one. i have been trying different stuff out lately.

I run the sickle, stuns, autocannon or AMR, nade pistol, medium explosion armor for a little more survivability.

breaker, +2nades... turrets for bugs, flamethrower for chargers.... AMR + eagles for bots

This is exactly why i like this game so much. I would never use this load out, but you can and have been successful in doing so. Different strokes for different folks and most of it works great in the right hands. Im plasma punisher, grenade pistol, AMR/EAT, Air strike, and last slot depends on the mission objective (bots) usually use +2 grenades or +2 stim armor, but sometimes ill run scout armor (solo) or heavy armor with 50% explosion resist if we got a whole squad, & mission type definitely can change one or more of the options used listed. BTW, if you prime a grenade and dive forward and throw while in dive animation, you get that servo buff for free. It takes momentum into consideration.

What happened to your Alexandria build

Alpha 21 was a big step up visually from 20. 21 introduced a newer version of unity and real time lighting effects. To me, the magazine system gives far more incentive to looting random places. In a20, low level pois are a waste and you can spam build and upgrade and unlock most everything within a few days and most pois are useless to loot as you can get most everything you need from wrenching.

I also love the fact I played them all in order, starting in 2010 with Demon's Souls as well. Dad took my to town and went to Game, I just randomly picked it out, I had no idea what it would be like. At first I couldn't work out why tf it was so difficult, but I absolutely loved it. I was so fucking bad back then, literally died constantly, it was like I'd never picked up a game before. I was immediately hooked from then until Elden Ring... Cannot fucking wait for the DLC.

Sekiro and Bloodborne are tied as my favorite games of all time but compared to the other fromsoft games i think i like them more because there is much less variety i feel like i always get overwhelmed in the other games

Ive played all of them except Sekiro. I was first introduced to SoulsBorne games with Dark Souls 3 in 2016 then worked my way backwards to BB than DS1 then OG Demon Souls on PS3 then DS2 and ofc Elden Rimg and I have 100% them all. I have not played and don't plan on playing Sekiro because I am not really a fan of the setting.

You can kinda grind in Sekiro by collecting all prayer beads and healing gourd seeds. Also if you collect three dragon mask pieces, you can dumb skill points into attack power.

My order: 1) og demons souls (beat) 2) dark souls 1 (quit after 1st bell), 3) dark souls 2 (picked bad class went to wrong area and quit)… 7 years pass 4) dark souls 3 (beat), 5) bloodborne (beat), 6) elden ring (beat), 7) back to ds1 (10 year old save will beat it soon), 8) next ds2, 9) will finish with Sekiro

My play order was Darksouls, Darksouls 2, Bloodborne, Darksouls 3, Elden Ring, Demons souls(because I couldnt find a copy for like a year) and still havent played Sekiro but Im waiting for it to go on sale or be available thru the playstation plus thing...I REALLLLY wish they would remake DS2 in the DS3 engine and make it so it isnt so clunky and shitty...DS1 and Demons Souls are almost the same in engine and playstyle, they both were amazing to play, I actually speedran DS1 once for fun and that was insane...

For most players, especially if they're younger or did not play these games when they came out, I would argue that they play Elden Ring and Sekiro last. The main reason for this is that those games have much more fluidity allowing for good jumping and movement around the environment. It would feel like a step back or downgrade for most to play anything before that. I could see a lot of modern players complaining about the lack of teleportation in Dark Souls, until a certain point in the game at least. I did Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3, Sekiro, and am on my first playthrough of Bloodborne now. Just got a PS4 just for the exclusives I want to play. I think the combat in Bloodborne and Sekiro is closely related and most similar favoring aggression and mastery of the combat system. At first you suck, then get better, and by the end of the game few if any normal enemies and most elites are any issue. Dark Souls will always be my favorite and I think those games should be played in order. The second one is much better than most give it credit for and it's reputation has sadly been ruined by memeing and people with low attention spans. The game is actually an earlier version of Elden ring, grant it with a few different mechanics and such. No BS. If you have played all the others you'll realize it. For new players I would say play Sous plus Elden Ring together, it's basically Souls. Then the other two. Though Bloodborne can feel a bit aged now. It is a great game so far.

my order of first played so far has been 1. Elden Ring 2. Bloodborne 3. Demons Souls PS5 4. Dark Souls Remastered 5. Darks Souls ll SOTFS (currently playing) 6. Dark Souls lll (after sotfs) 7. Sekriro (after DS3) and Bloodborne has easily been the best, its my number 1 game of all time. As I continue to go through the series I still sneak in an hour or two of bloodborne because its that good. I've always thought that the game you start this amazing series with should be matched with your playstyle in other games. For example, i like high mechanical skill and speed, Bloodborne fits that. Someone more methodical or slow will like DS1 / Demons Souls. Open world enjoyers should go with Elden Ring. Honestly, you really cant go too wrong with picking any of them first, out of the ones ive played they have all lived up to the hype.

Playing DS3 after (or before even) Elden Ring is a good choice too

Elden Ring pulled me in, then I played Sekiro because it was new enough to be on par graphically with Elden Ring, then Dark Souls 3 and am currently stuck at Ludwig in Bloodborne and DS1 I just beat Seath

I agree with Bloodborne first. I have never completed the game. I haven't even gotten that far into it. All of Dark Souls games trained me to take my time, be methodical, follow patterns. Bloodborne wants you to be aggressive to get your health back. I just can't reprogram myself to do that. I've tried many times to start over and I'll go back again because I love the aesthetic of the game, but I'm not sure I'll ever complete it. If I had played Bloodborne first, I probably wouldn't have had as hard a time with it.

for me when i started to play i had a potato pc, so all i could do was ds PTDE and man i fell in love with everything the game had to offer ESPECIALLY the worled building with all the shortcuts. since then i just had this thirst to experience the same thing so i would say i didnt care about the order to go about it. SO, from my experience if you like ds1 you'll most likely like anything FromSoftware make.

You dont even need a forge, u can get all forged iron u need looting, finding a wrench and using it on work stations. ^^ Until a trader has it in their broken forge or u can buy it or the schematic for it. Getting enough food is the bigger issue i guess, with so much fighting depleting ur hunger.

Working Chem Station, Workbench and Mixer on Days 1? Jeeez. Just find the forge schematic now or buy one at the traders, and u save all points into engineering and medic, thats rare and nice!

Agility and Stamina to be able to run rings around them might be the way to go here. Then u wont need a horde base. Or do they run at horde nights? (Edit: Of course not, there are no horde nights. Dumbass me. ^^) But if u can melee them all, where is the challenge?
