Honestly I dont' want a host shouting an obnoxious prepared line at me the second I walk in the door. That would put me right off. Just let me sit or stand somewhere for half a minute to a minute until someone sees me then gets things going. They don't need to be there ready to snap like a robot.

Your restaurants are great with lots and lots of food and great customer service. But prices are what limit people from eating in restaurants these days. People struggling to make living or young graduates with big loan on their shoulders and no jobs in Canada, sure won't think about eating in restaurants. I don't think that adding more food or changing to service, will make much difference, rather than reducing prices. Or open a new restaurant with less choices and affordable for the middle class at least. But recognizing employees who work so hard for you, it's the best any management can do 👍

This episode here is so different from all the other episodes that I've seen film from Canada best boss really cared about her employees usually when they film from Canada the companies are so cheap they don't hardly do anything for the employees not like it is in the United States

I wish she would have given Getta a good sum of money on top of the trip. Also the sweet blonde girl, I would offer for her to go to a good dentist and have her teeth fixed, especially as a hostess she should have healthy teeth. Dentists are so expensive and it breaks my heart to see a young girl that works so hard having to deal with bad teeth which she will never be able to afford to get them fixed. so all with all, this `Jenny` is a bit of a fringe in my eyes.

It is a good business model for many companies to have white collar workers go to the front lines and see what really happens on the front lines. No amount of words through an email, virtual conference or phone call can show what the front line workers go through.

I went to mandarin a few weeks ago and was blown away by the spectacular customer service.

How much of each ingredient?

I love this show but I find it unfair that out of all the good staff only 4 of them get chosen. There's many staff members who are struggling, are homeless, without family and they get nothing. Not even a thank you.

OMG!!! Both Tina and “Stone”, the guy who works in the kitchen didn’t wash their hands before touching the foods! He wiped his sweat on the forehead with his hand then he touched the foods after with that hand…how dirty is it??? One things, they should know that they have to wash their hands before touching the foods, and when you work in the kitchen… cleanliness is so important in the restaurant business!! I think, I won’t go to Mandarin restaurant after I watched this show on the television…regarding how would they handle the foods🤭🤯

I had no idea how small the margins are for their business. I thought when i go there and spend 30$ on the buffet and eat 15-20$ worth of food that they were making much more than a buck or two off me.

you are so right you have already learned to first thing running a business is lying on the profit margin. No restaurant can live on the one dollar profit or three dollar profit on the meal in this kind of volume. You asked me leading to viewers and keeping fake information. Audience you should do some fat jacking before believing what this woman say.

Mandarin's so called "Chinese food" are bottom tier in terms of taste and authenticity. Most are Asian junk food but not at a cheap price compared to the truly tasty dishes in authentic Chinese restaurants.

Asian restaurants only hire other Asians to work as servers. It’s unfair when they are in our diverse country.

Canadians are just so dern nice. Why can't Yankees be this humble and appreciative?

I know the mandarin family for 20+ years...James..KC..Diana..Sunny etc...great people. I saw the business flourish over the years and a lot of work was put in. I still remember their location at Queen/Kennedy in brampton.
