I am with you on almost all of this. Only exception is that Season 3 of The Boys was my least favorite (though still miles above a lot of stuff) and I think I actually liked the first season of Gen V better than the first of The Boys. The character's relationships and characters in general were just so fascinating to me in how well they deconstructed common tropes of college shows/movies and how diverse and important the cast was. Like how many of the 'good' guys are kinda the 'popular' kids. And how the popular kids are actually as like complex and ultimately semi-progressive as the rest of the student body would be. How in many ways they're not really popular because culture has morphed so much in college in respects to those classifications. I love how it flips the Boys on its head and makes the powers a source of persecution almost posing this idea that maybe the issue isn't actually the powers but the way that culture would use them. And all of the themes about how everybody's powers is in some way having this inherent unseen sacrifice as a metaphor almost for how ultimately we all have some form of struggle that society may not get to see and how therefore capitalism ultimately sees all of us as a subject for oppression.

You should watch Anthony Starr in Banshee. That show cooked and he was so bad ass. It was a Cinemax original and now streams on Max. He’s a jewel thief that gets released from a 15 year prison sentence and goes to Banshee Pennsylvania to find his girlfriend who was part of his crew. Upon arrival, he meets the new incoming sherif who was interviewed and hired by phone( a small town practice ). An Amish gangster’s thugs show up, kill the sheriff, and Starr assumes the identity of the sheriff, Lucas Hood. We don’t know his real name, and he’s shrouded in mystery. Such as: how he’s able to body like five opponents at a time. It goes into his past as the show moves along, but his character is bad ass. He was a thief, but he’s not evil, yet as “sheriff” he does things that make the senior deputy who got passed over for the real Hood, questioning who he is. Banshee.

Game of Thrones is garbage because they completely ruin the last two seasons. Even if you really get into the first few seasons there is no payoff.

How was game of thrones boring? They would kill major characters suddenly. Intricate in depth world building. Complex plot. Long fight scenes. Cliff hangers every week. Lots of things you can criticize it for. Unevenness is the main one. slow pace is not one of them

The Boys is amazing to me because I think many of us are accustomed to seeing common superhero tropes. The show is a satire to an extreme😂 but to me the pacing is so bad for that reason, any of the characters could die instantly that no one’s actions have any weight ya know. Btw you’re very pretty, cool and intelligent, you’ve gained a subscriber fam👍🏻

I don't think people will be triggered with what you say. Some people dont like popular shows and movies and act like they are right and everyone else is wrong and I think thats triggering.
