On Sunday November 5th 2023 there was a KP 7 aurora activity. Although I wasn't at the best locations for this event, it turned out to be visible from most of the Netherlands which is located around 52 degrees latitude. The nightsky at Burg Eltz - timelapse

A two hour timelapse of the nightsky at Burg Eltz in Germany. Unfortunately I captured only one Perseid meteor, although I saw a dozen or so falling outside the frame. But I did capture approximately sixteen airplanes and countless satellites. Shot on the night of August 10th 2023, between 11 pm and 1 am.

Hoi Nando.....Helaas kon ik mijn vraag niet hier in deze video vinden.....Ik zoek er al de hele dag heen hier op You Tube zonder resultaat......Ik zoek hoe ik een afbeelding achter een transparante afbeelding kan zetten dan ook nog met die afbeelding kan schuiven op de achtergrond voor een goede positie....Hopelijk snap je mijn vraag een beetje......Graag hoor ik van je.....Mvg Paul
Beide afbeeldingen in lagen op elkaar geeft je de mogelijkheid om elke laag naar wens te verschuiven.

@@giovalliproduktion2070 Het eenvoudigste is de foto die je wilt gebruiken in het openstaande document slepen. Dat wordt dan een smart object dat bovenop de lagen ligt. Mocht de onderliggende laag vastgezet zijn (slotje erop), dan kan je het slotje openen door op dat icoontje te klikken. Daarna sleep je de lagen in de volgorde die je wenst.

Hi, have you tested whether the water drains properly from the filter in the event of rain?
No, I haven't. Rain drops will always be visible, no matter what filter is used. So an adequate raincover is the only thing that works.
@@nandoharmsen Yes yes but some filters are very better like the k&f is very good for this, just a little bit of water stay on thr filter as the pub
@@RallyeTime That is true, some do better than others. It's nice too see how a dropplet moves from such a filter, but that's not the same as rain. A drissle or a real rainshower make a lot of difference, but neither are large drops that are placed onto the lens in a controlled environment like they show you in advertisements.

Inderdaad. We hadden heldere nachten. Alleen geen sneeuw, wat dan ook weer jammer was.

Lofoten is niet zo groot. Je ziet al snel dezelfde plekken.

Een vraag Nando: hoe kopieer je een gemaakt laagmasker naar een nieuw aangemaakte groep? (dit kom ik tegen in een ander filmpje maar het lukt mij niet..)
Je kan dat masker naar de nieuwe groep slepen. Als je het laagmasker niet wilt verslepen maar kopiëren, dan moet je de ALT of OPTION toets bij het verslepen ingedrukt houden. Je kan ook de rechtermuisknop op het masker klikken en uit de opties kiezen.

Als bewonderaar van het fotowerk van Ansel adams en enthousiast zwart-wit fotograaf kwam ik min of meer per ongeluk deze video tegen. Inspirerend fotowerk. En erg benieuwd naar de techniek die je gebruikt voor de nabewerking.

A digital camera
Question: Does Nando create these wonderful images in camera with sensitivity and skill or after hours in Lightroom?
A camera registrates the surroundings, the existing light, with the limitations of a digital sensor. It's mandatory to edit the photos in editing software for the best end results. It's exactly the same as a darkroom when photography was not yet digital.

Het noorderlicht kan zo ook vastgelegd worden. Kijk maar eens in mijn video lijst, daar zijn er een paar in te vinden. Ook in de video over de winterreis naar IJsland heeft een timelapse van het noorderlicht.

you wrote interesting articles about Ansel Adams and about Exposure to the Right , could you make a video with the histogram and how you edit to reproduce Zone System ? for instance which part will be zone V and why you burn/dodge some parts ?
