Eye & ear candy ❤👍
If you connect to XLR input you get 6 dB extra output
What is the “Porsche” of audio. That’s my type. Simply capable of the best performance. So, what do you think the “Porsche” of audio is? I am reacquainting myself after a 23 year absence.
Bro, is that a Music Hall turntable? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Usually people use too cheap a phono stage for their table. This is one of the rare times I've seen it the other way around. Not a system in balance. It would be a total waste of money to partner a $30,000+ phono stage with a $1,200 + table. Cool phono stage and speakers though, but wow...a Music Hall?
The correct pronunciation is chassis not Tchassis. Beautiful Amp
Just buy a Rolex lol
Branding has been the main driver in this brand all in the name of maximum profits imo
Captain Nemo fans only 😂
This brand is easily beaten by better, much cheaper amps. It’s a gouge brand. You’re buying into a brand name mainly.
Insane and dream amplification
Absolutely gorgeous
What model number.
Great Amplifier! I really fall in love with the Design
Thx for sharing 👍
Cool but a bit stupid gimmics...
What is theater? There is only one balanced output there!
Hi Philippe, Theater mode is a specialized operating mode designed for systems that include both a two-channel setup and a home theater processor. To enable it, connect the left and right channel outputs of your surround sound processor to the Theater input on the Progression Preamplifier. This input bypasses the preamplifier’s volume control, fixing it at a set level (shown as 70 on the meters), and instead uses your surround sound processor’s volume control. Consequently, the front panel and remote volume controls on the preamplifier are disabled. This setup allows you to connect your two-channel sources to the Progression Preamplifier and your theater sources to the surround processor, ensuring that only one volume control is active for either music or movie playback. Additionally, the left and right main channels of a video source benefit from the superior circuitry of the Progression Preamplifier.
C'est du costaud cet ampli mono 😮
the power cord installation, it has real potential to provide a human with deadly electrical shock! such works is only allowed for professionals! Are you really exposing your customers to such a danger?
Too much words.
Cool. I got theese a couple month ago and now i can finally turn them on. Thank you!
The best part of the whole video is the comically large binding post wrench. That's to make you feel that spending an ungodly amount of money on ridiculous electronics is worth it. When you see that Hi-Res Audiophile grade binding post wrench you realize it was worth every penny. Using any other type of wrench or tool for the binding posts on these amps will void the warranty. If you ever lose your wrench you will need to have a trained tech come to your home to connect or disconnect your speakers. If you want to order a replacement wrench the wait time is currently 5 to 6 years. Each wrench is handcrafted and aged for 48 months in an oxygen free chamber to ensure it is Hi-Res Audiophile grade.
🤣🤣Thats funny! But stupidity needs to be mocked...
The Pagani of Hifi audio.
Interesting, thx for sharing 👍
Oh dear a 5dollar cord on a 5million dollar amp.😮
Ridiculous. Dan makes them because he knows the old addage...audiophool. He knows that the more expensive he makes it the more desirable it will be. Whether is sounds good is another matter entirely. Remember, Krell is where he learned this lesson.
Power Cable: It is the bare minimum because they know the owner is going to replace it. They just need to be able to turn on and work for the installation. It's no different than any other amp from $2,500 on up. Nobody is keeping that power cord.
I was just about to buy one until I saw the Home Depot power cable. And why such ill fitting speaker line connectors?
Those are some shity ass power lines. Beats the purpose of huge speaker cables.
Great sound, but the pimpy bling look is gaudy, I wouldn’t own it🙈.
Won't power 20.7s 😮 I jest, bring it babe 😊
The 3 eyelet power cord would be embarrassing on a $500 amp. That’s some parts house eyelets, crimped on 12g wire.. not even use a little bit of shrink wrap. Nope. Let’s just machine a billet cover, and make a custom wrench. This is a “no expense spared” luxury item, and that’s what y’all came up with? Full disclosure I drool over this stuff, and very likely to never be able to own one, but that imagine is now burned in my head, and I’ll never be able to think of this brand without thinking about that cable. Now I fully realize it works perfectly fine, but is this brand based around the mindset of “works perfectly fine”?
I feel like you care enough to where you could make one for yourself that's nicer 👍
I absolutely could make a nicer cable. I’m sure you can too. So now we have a couple normal guys that can make a nicer essential component than d’agastino does for their $350,000 home stereo amp. Point well made, sir.
Are the ringlets on the Ac power cord made of solid Rhodium? The ac wires look like 12g Romex.
"Romex" was the first thing that fell out of my mind.
They are magnificent ... but why do I think the cases cost more to make than the electronics inside?
Electronics development, testing. High quality manufacturing. Marketing, demonstrations to clients. Excellent customer service. Low production counts. That's why they cost a lot. Rare high quality masterpiece. Their team also need to make a living and get a decent profit margin to stay afloat reliably.
Yeah you can connect a few wires to it and that's fun to watch, but then why not just hook it up to some music and let it play for several minutes to possibly allow people to hear it. And get your impressions otherwise what's the point
We can connect you with a nearby dealer to experience these audio masterpieces in person! Hearing them through a computer or phone won't do their true sound justice. Let us know if you're interested, and we'll make it happen!
He is just showing how to make the proper connections. Not a real set up.
Hate & jealousy still seems to be the most common characteristic of audiophile’s today judging by all these comments…shame really ..
Priced for fools. Wake up, you can do much better for far less.
The amount of pearl clutching in the comments is funny AF 😂
Bello/Magnifico.🔥✡️✡️✡️✡️✡️✡️💘🌡️🍾💪
How stupid is the mainstream connection for the price of the unit
I have a few concerns about the ac connection especially for countries in Europe that have stringent electrical regulations
What concerns could you have with a connection that is more secure than any standard power cord ever could be … especially with a metal protective cover plate to boot …LOL !
@@albertomarino242how do you know it is metal?
Ridiculous audiophool "hi-end" status symbol duly noted as such.
Whoever is willing to pay for these beasts truly deserves them. Because as they say, there’s one born every minute.
A millionaire is not born every minute
@@tothemax324 I highly doubt if a majority of self -made millionaires would spend so much for a highly depreciating asset (50% depreciation in year one is what I've seen)... Studies have shown true multimillionaires actually live very modest lifestyles in order to save / invest $$$ over decades... There are always exceptions tough... It would be interesting to know how many units are sold annually. It's a very niche market.
@@tothemax324 True, but foolish suckers are.
Only 350k each a bargain;)
Pair
An even better bargain!
Thanks for the video, this was much better and more informative than reading the manual.
We are glad you enjoyed! We have more installation videos on the way.
Oh no, the feet aren't counter threaded. Now the sound will create inverse vibrations and ruin the soundscape!!
GM ☕️..man I go back to the Krell PAM1 & PAM 3 pre amps 😎 Damn, I’ve been in this game a Hell of a long time 🤣
As a Krell fan/owner that has followed Mr. D'Agostino for decades the beauty of this Amp is only matched by the ridiculously hideous and ergonomically unusable remote control. For the price of this unit, I expect a remote machined out of a solid block of Billet Aluminum with the same accents as the amp itself, robust enough to use as a self-defense tool during a home invasion. Anything less seems like a waste.
This brand is overpriced in the opinions of many.
I always find it very classy that companies put ads on videos that are meant for their customers.
Figures that it doesn't work or provide any intrinsic value...
The speaker binding post has a hexagon shape head but relatively small for finger to tighten it, it couldn’t hold the fork in the demo. Is it really no possibility to use banana plug? How come no WBT binding post at this price range? The remote control looks cheap and ugly, no need to match the meter shape, economic and user friendly is more important. The volume wheel looks cool.
It costs one hundred and fifteen thousand dollars, and you need to pay extra for the LEDs to light up?
Much better amps a lot cheaper.
