We're loving your trip! We are doing something similar (taking my in-laws on their first DCL trip) and have done the same with the rooms to be able to get a port arrival time with our gold status. We noticed you used a Magic Band to enter the room. Does Chris have one? Were you able to get it to work for your room (since he was originally booked in the other)?

We got off the Dream on the 16th and had the disney blues also and are going to DLP next week now 😂 love you guys ❤
