Horizon up to 9 millions is crazy success what do you mean?
1 in the last 3 years or more for sony, this shows you that numbers are not looking good for them. It's not like in the past.

gta 6 is a special circumstance and will still do crazy sales numbers even at $100. if other companies try to copy the price, it’s not gonna work for the rest of the aaa slop.

Interesting to see the big studios collapse
Nowadays there are many recurring franchises, which are called conveyor (NFS, Dark Souls games, Fallout and many many others).But not everyone has a bad ending, not everyone has the same problems that are widely complained about. And here's what comes to mind when I hear the word conveyor: Ubisoft.Assassins Creed is a unique franchise and I have heard it called a good and bad conveyor. But why is that? It's simple - the games repeated themselves and came out a year after the success of the previous game.But then the games became dramatically lower quality and this is not the fault of the conveyor belt - the conveyor belt assumes the repetition of the same product.Even though their games added something new with each new part they were still similar, but then... They lost their qualities. Greed, laziness - everything as another comment said. They just started working for money, not for good games that will make them a lot of money.

what happened ? it's very simple, they are publicly traded. therefore they want to maximise profits, reduce costs and risks expecting more money with less means and less materials (hence why we basicaly got the same assassin's creed for 10 years straight outside of voice actor changes) what happened to Ubisoft ? they started making money, not games, not art. it's pretty simple really
