If it is still not working I would suggest if you have any cc or mods to take them out and then try to repair the sims app.

Quite a lot of things are rehashed features from privouse sims3... other things are nice but they seem to luck, most dlc now are revised broken from start. So let's see how this one will even work. Hope the pool future is going to be also in base game update.
