Little White House Blues CLR video

This song was inspired by events that happened at the Dozier School for Boys (aka Florida School for Boys) throughout its history. I worked here doing archaeological monitoring in 2019 and 2020. The song deals with the hopelessness felt when those in power oppress those who are powerless. This is in no way suggesting that suicide is a positive alternative to hopelessness or any other circumstan...

What a voice! and what a sound! I love your vocal harmonies!
Well done - Now can you do something with the Okeechobee School as well?
Thank you, sir. So much of this went on across the country. Glad there has been some healing.
Wow! What a great depiction of Florida School for Boys aka Dozier and what those poor young boys went through. Thank you Justin!
Yeah. We went thru Hell every day we were guests at the school. I was there 1953-54 and it seemed like a lifetime. OVER 70 YEARS AGO AND HEARING NEW COMMENTS, SONGS, OR comments about the abuse from the employees still makes me nauseous at times. Other times it just makes me want to destroy something, but that isn't possible so it only leaves me frustrated. Sometimes takes me a few days to get the abuse out of my mind. God bless and heal us all.

Thank you, Diane. I'm glad you like it. I'm always humbled and moved by the stories and the people that experienced such challenges there.
I just realized I had footage of your name on the wall of the white house. Thanks for sharing your story, and I certainly hope you are able to heal from the trauma@@arielrobins
