Mate, are you new to football? soft interactions like this happens a lot in football without even a yellow... But, when you touch or push other players from the neck/head it's RED.. Footballers tell each other get up and stop wasting time when they fake injury A LOT and they dont get a yellow for pulling the fake-injuried player up.

No. The first is a light pull of the jersey to say get up. The second is a two armed push. No real hits or punches dude haha

@@cmacpan Yellow for the pull would be ok. But it's not a dive, he just overacted the hit in the face so the ref realises it. That's not a yellow for me, but i agree that it looks stupid. But players do it so the other one gets punished for their action. That's part of the modern football sadly. Players overact things so it didnt go unnoticed. But it's not eqaul to a dive, where a players try to get a freekick without an actual fault.

Those are sports where physical contact is the sport, football is not like that you are not meant to faul anyone and certainly not have any aggression towards them. In this situation even both could have received a card not just one.

@@freshmint007fam, yeah sure, there is contact in football. world football here, not american, but it’s to gain leverage and put yourself and your body in position of the ball. just walking up to the goal keeper and grabbing at his neck, is not how you receive, or contain the ball AT ALL. you can (somewhat) use your hands and arms to shield away your opponent. that doesn’t mean lunging at their neck. even the players who are allowed the handle the ball with their hands, the goalkeeper, aren’t allowed to just lunge at an opponents neck. so when something that just does not naturally happen within the fundamentals of how the game is played. is it really that much of a crime to bring it to the refs attention. mind you. diving is a book-able (card showing worthy) offense. so I don’t think the goalkeeper, who is one of the more sturdy players on the pitch and traditionally known for strength and toughness is just going for a dive.
