This came back to me today, and you made a great point about the Temple of God. We as a whole, in the body of Christ is the Temple. So when people say, “Oh my sin isn't hurting anyone but myself.” That’s not true if you are a part of the body! Imagine a cut on your pinky toe, you think, “Eh, I don’t need to clean that out, it’s just a toe.” But then that toe becomes infected, eventually getting into your blood stream, harming your entire body, where you're waking up vomiting, needing antibiotics. We look into Nehemiah who rebuilt the city where the Temple was, filling in all the holes and cracks in the wall. Could that be little wounds of unforgiveness or bitterness left unchecked? If you have the gift of healing, how can Jesus work through you if you have a wound you haven't checked on? Mental health doctors could be giving to the church in that way, as an armor bearer for Christ. Tending to people’s wounds as they ask God for prophecy for others. The soldier's who never put their weapons down can be like intercessor's. Hmm, what do you think? Are we onto something here? I asked God to teach me something new each day from His Word, cause I never want to lose my excitement for Him. Keeps the relationship strong and healthy when we have talks with our Heavenly Father.

Fun teaching on the temple, makes a lot of sense now. This was a good explanation on what idolatry is for us today. Interesting, cause Northwest foursquare also did a good teaching this weekend on desiring more of God and worshipping, I'm guessing God is putting this on our Pastor's hearts.

This was a great teaching, excited with you guy's, God is moving :) God is preparing His people to send them soon, this church is a branch of the whole church, God has ever corner covered, welcome one person at a time, I like to pray that every individual is recognized for what their gift is, everyone is special and can feel special in their own personal relationship with god, takes us time to grow in our gift's.

Sounds like your prayers are being answered :) I ALWAYS THINK ABOUT CALEB, he was true to God, God gave him a promise, which he held onto for 40+ more years, in joshua 14 he speaks of how God kept him healthy and strong. Think, for over 40 years he had to wait patiently, watching as every one of his generation died so he could get his promise. if its good for our spirit it's good for our physical body too. Stay true to God, be like those soldiers in Nehemiah, never remove that armor (don't allow greed, jealousy, pride, etc. in) always be in prayer and thanking God no matter what, God knows the future, we don't. He can turn anything into good, even as bad as it may look to us humans.

PRAYERS for seattle foursquare, they have a clear jezebel and ahab. pride comes before the destruction. Prayers Pastor's will have a new gift of discernment when narcissists come into their churches. Imagine us going through a rebuild like in Nehemiah, mentioned the Priests were in charge of rebuilding in front of their homes, I imagine that as Pastor's in charge of their own churches, then we have the people rebuilding all around us, at our work places, we pray and LOVE everyone, pray for God's wisdom and the character of Christ before going to work, or school, shopping, etc. Once the wall was halfway up, is when the enemy realizes and decides to attack, so having intercessors and the full body of Christ, welcoming every spiritual gift. Cause half the people never took off their armor and stayed at the wall, armor of Christ? keep praying for God's protective hand over your church, and the gift of discernment, that God highlights anyone with wrong intentions coming into the church.

Thanks for teaching the word! Glad to have found this church on here, where the Pastor talks all about Jesus, it's hard to find Pastor's like this now days. I was reading today and this stuck out to me - Nehemiah 7:64 "These searched for their family records, but they could not find them and so were excluded from the priesthood as unclean." They cant prove their identity through documents. Many Preachers today will get on the stage weekly, thinking they are doing the will of God, that they belong in His family, but on that day, they wont be able to prove it, because during their sermons they talked 90% of themselves, and only 10% of Jesus, how scary that will be for these people, we must pray for them, they'll be the ones telling God, "But I taught your Word every weekend." and God's response will be, "No, you talked and boasted about yourself every weekend!" Think, the majority of people that even go to church, aren't reading the scriptures themselves, they only hear about God once a week in church, it's a sad truth, and to think that preachers arent using that entire 1 hour sermon on the Word, is heartbreaking, when church becomes about the Pastor and not about Jesus, that tiny spore of yeast (pride) grows when the people dont make the Pastor take accountability, and instead praise him, in the name of Jesus. Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

What a great Pastor, he spoke of the bible the entire sermon. Most pastor's today speak 15% Bible and 85% of themselves. Hard to find true Bible teachings these days, and it's nice when he recognizes, "This is my understanding." Showing he's open to listening and learning more, prayers for all spiritual blindness to be lifted, to open our eyes to hear and see what He's saying and teaching us. I pray that for the calvary churches, cause they dont believe God still speaks to us today, which I find absolutely depressing, people who have no one, and then a calvary pastor tells them that even God doesnt speak to them, what is the point in life if even your own Father doesnt speak to you? So sad, I pray for a personal encounter with the Holy Spirit, that people who carry the character of Jesus come through their lives. Recognize God's voice, we need the Bible to know how He speaks. We all need a passion and desire for His Word and His presence.

Pastor's who equip. Prophet's who hear God's guidance. Intercessor's who pray the fulfillment of God's will. Encourager's to help all these to keep the faith. What is faith? I think of it as a dependence on God, many people think they have faith cause they believe in Jesus, but truthfully, many in America have never had to FULLY depend on the Father, as Jesus did, as soon as something scary hits, they all panic, and forget to depend fully on God, but it takes prayer to have that dependence, merely ask to not doubt, and your relationship will grow as He proves Himself more and more real to each of us. ...it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. Hebrews 11:6
