question- for tech school. will i have time to run? im an avid runner, and im excited to run in basic (lowkey kinda worried ill lose fitness, but we will see) but i am concerned i wont be able to run daily during tech school

The rooms are small and not on the best condition (especially the maintainer dorms) but it's all in what you make of it.

You should do a videoo of things that are helpful to buy for tech school before you even go to bmt!!

I feel the older you are the more complicated the enlistment process gets. Joined at 35 however, leaving the air force is a laborous journey as well.

Hey quick question, so if you had a medical condition when you were younger and provided all the necessary paperwork. Then afterwards you get authorized to go to meps.. does that mean your medical waiver was approved?

Ha ha my Tech school was at Lackland,across the damn street from the 321st-where I entered. The shortest bus ride ever!! LOL BMT during XMAS. Oh, the big red brick building for 26 weeks. We were housed at the 342nd in Medina. 2E351, 1995-1999 Hooyah Air Force!

I think APY has something to do with the interest rate. So like if your APY is like 4.25% per year, then every year, whatever amount of money you had before will increase by the given percent. Now I ain't a financial advisor by any means so take what I say with a grain of salt.

I am currently trying to get in. I do take ADHD medication and anxiety medication, but I use the anxiety medication in partnership with my ADHD. I am doubtful but I certainly hope that I can get in without having to wait a whole 3 years.

Did you get to go home before your duty station and if so did it take some of your accrued days off

I am on meds and my psychiatrist said I should do therapy. I have my first appointment next Monday (it is Wednesday today) should I cancel? I am not in tricare. But I will already need a waiver for my meds and asthma from my past. I feel like it’s just racking on the DQ. Mental health shouldn’t be such a barrier to getting in. My mother abused me and I’m 99.9 percent sure my depression is from that. But if I get away from her then I’ll get better. I moved in 2018 and I healed. Came back bc of covid and started meds bc of that…. The woman who took my blood was rude to me all day. She targeted me as soon as I walked in the door.

I just went to MEPS a couple of days ago and I have to get a waiver issued for my "Adjustment Disorder" I'm crossing my fingers that it gets approved though!

i had electronics tech school for 6 months well over 10 years ago for coast guard. City duty is usually better, there's a lot of country ass places in the mil you can end up which is partly why i got out. Good luck in Japan you'll have a blast i'm sure.
