    脱型後にバーナーでワームを炙るのはなぜですか?

      脱型後そのままですとワームの表面に光沢が無くくすんでいるので、炙る事で光沢を出しています。

I'm trying to learn from your video, as I cut many fishing lures with a scroll saw. I found it clever to not cut the pieces off during the first pass. I have glued or taped them back on for flat surfaces for the second pass. If you texted a comment about this, I may have miss it. I went back and watch a second time to see if you did... You inserted saw blades as spacers to make up the difference in the material that was removed during the first cut... But Why? Does not having the spacers cause the wood to vibrate excessively, or make the second cut off by far enough to matter? This is a new process to me and I like to understand why something works better or doesn't. Thanks!

Thank you for your comment. Sorry for I skipped to explain about that in the video. The thickness of my scroll saw blade is 1.2mm so total machining allowance will be 2.4 mm ,it means top surface will tilt maximum 2.4mm. This tilted state has a bad influence on the shape and dimensional accuracy of the machined components. Also the jaggy saw blades can prevent slipping the wood each other while machining. So those inserted blade could prevent the wood parts fall apart. I hope this answer will helps your understanding.
