Awesome build! It was a pleasure to watch. Quick question! I've seen a couple of builders to some drilling (like for the bridge, for example) after having applied the finish. Is that for a reason? Wouldn't it be better to do it before painting and f finishing to avoid unwanted dents or scratches? Loved the final result!

Inspiring craftsmanship. Seeing this it is hard to understand how they can sell pretty decent electric guitars for a few hundred bucks

Very, very nice. This is why hand made guitars can be preferable to certain factory made ones. The 335 is a great choice.

The craftsmanship and final product is amazing. If I could only give you a constructive feedback. The logo font and proportions doesn’t match de guitar. It looks like a cheap guitar with that logo font and size. Just food for thought

You did a good job on the binding. I was very glad the 335 I built was a 59" copy. No F hole binding. The client did want block inlays instead of dots. One other thought, have you seen how Taylor guitars installed the bound F holes on their T-5 models. And I would imagine they would employ the same tactic anywhere they had bound F holes. Of course they CNC cut the F hole recess, then they have injection molded binding that fits perfectly. There is an edge on top that keeps it from going too far into the recess. CA it in and once it's dry the top lip sands off with the final sanding.

Looking good my friend. I built an ES-335 about 4 years ago and then modified that design for last years GGBO and built a 30.5 scale bass 335.
