I wasn’t really upset about it. Just confused. Lol but I do love them n they look great. But I do have a programmer I’ll just buy the decoders n put sounds in myself

That’s strange usually the coupler heights on the Amfleets r pretty decent. Honestly, I am not sure what size washers. I’d suggest getting a small box of small washers from Amazon. And try each one to see. Personally, I never had a problem with coupler height.

@@DSnMRailways The bachmann Amtrak amfleet passengers I have no coupler height issues of it lineup with my kadee height gauge but not the case for Walthers proto phase 1 Amtrak amfleet passenger car which I try some many ideas to get coupler lineup correctly with my ho scale kadee height but nothing seems to work which is frustrating. If I can only find a way to get over this coupler height issues hump along with getting labelled lubricant oil #107 for wheels run smoothly on track then the real fun comes in to play. Until then I can do anything with this Walthers Amtrak proto amfleet passenger car until I solve this coupler height issues and get lubricant oil for axel wheels. Never thought getting Walthers proto Amtrak amfleet phase1 passenger car would be this complicated with coupler height issues which it stunned me of didn't think I would run into this coupler height problem. And thanks for recommendations.

Is the coupler lower or higher?

@DSnMRailways it's lower ! That's the problem I'm having now.

They r going to sit slightly low. However that isn’t too much of a problem normally. Try pulling it with a locomotive and see how it is.

That's great. Looks like a fun time. Do you need something more powerful than a basic hobby transformer to push the current for a run that long?

Woodland scenics medium grade lube will do fine. I mistakenly used heavy gear lube. It works great surprisingly would recommend tho

This is a trainshow layout. There’s just enough detail to catch the eye of wandering people, and not too much where it isn’t durable for travel. Not to mention many builders have jobs and can’t work on their modules as often as they like.

MARRS (Meade Area Railroad Society). The club usually does shows at Fair grounds Timonium Maryland. Great Scale Model Train Show and Greensburg train show. The club can get ALOT bigger. But we are constrained due to the space at the show.
