Nobody can even imagine the constant pain and burning in the entire GI tract and around.. Forget about side symptoms in the body. Esophagitis, gastritis, duodentits, liver swelling, gall bladder swelling and then stones due to weight loss of 25 kgs, colitis, anal inflammation, rectum inflammation.. I still can't believe I went through all of it and in my case I wasn't even told it was Crohn's.

Oh no . . . upper abdominal pain, lack of appetite, weight loss, nausea . . . I’m starting to have these symptoms and recently saw a gastrologist. My Mother was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in her thirties. I’m currently on Prilosec and my ultrasound is normal, thankfully. I hope these symptoms aren’t the start of it for me, but I am trying to educate myself. Thanks for the video.

I had bowl problems most of my life and I first developed lactose intolerance when I was twelve so I cut out dairy. In my twenties I had endometriosis which also led to added severe bowl problems. Then more recently (age 33) my bowl issues seemed to change to mixed-IBS like symptoms including alternating chronic constipation and diarrhea, gas, and bloating. I also had quite bad GERD issues. They first said that it was likely mixed IBS but I ended up getting a colonoscopy and it turned out to be Crohns. I would say for most people with these issues definitely ask for a colonoscopy even if you are told it's just stress related or IBS. Not that those are not real problems, but some people are misdiagnosed. I have had other odd symptoms too like seborrheic dermatitis and raised itchy bumps I could feel under my skin that would come and go, chronic fatigue, night sweats, cold chills, random fevers to name a few. The list of foods I can no longer eat continues to grow...

Hi, I've had a couple of ulcers and told I have gastritis. There was lots of burning in my stomach and acid reflux. I had a bout of acute colitis and now less than a month after antibiotics I think it's back. But now I'm wondering if it was misdiagnosed. I'm researching the difference between the two and came upon your video. Thank you for sharing. I think I'm starting to figure it out.

I’m male. 43y/o. I’ve been dealing with something terrible for 4 months. I have abdominal pains every day. But not always. And some days I barely have any. Other days are horrible. There are like 6 places they manifest. I have some other symptoms as well. I haven’t worked in almost 4 months because of the pain and extreme anxiety. I was convinced for the first couple months that I must have cancer. I started staying at my ex’s whenever my son would be there because I need someone around all the time to try to stay distracted from these issues. My anxiety has calmed some, and I’m trying to get back to my old self. I also think an anxiety attack may have set all this in motion. Now, in part from your videos, I’m thinking it may be chrohn’s.

5 years later and you're still helping people. Your candidness is very much appreciated. I'm dealing with ulcerative colitis brought on by taking prescribed NSAIDS for chronic back pain. Both of these digestive diseases are debilitating if not controlled. Hope you are doing well today.

OMG im so happy to have found your channel. Ive been having various gastrointestinal issues recently (nausea, terrible acid reflux, indigestion, serious cramps, bloating, gastrisis, occasional diarrhoea etc) and I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy yesterday. From my research I have a feeling I have Crohn's disease although my symptoms have not started out directly the usual way you see with most Crohn's patients The doctor said I have mild inflammation in my intestines, I also have candida in my throat just like you which he said is very odd. They took out four samples and I should have the results of my biopsy on Boxing Day. If it is Crohn's like I suspect, I will atleast know the next steps to take to put an end to this nightmare!

Missed your face! Keep it up. No Crohn's here - but other issues, but I'm a curious person and love educating myself. I mean...doctors practice medicine on a daily, so no one has this down pat, right? Subscribed, liked, commented. Waiting for the next one! Welcome to RUclips!!
