    Bad at every single step. Is not a solid, the media is still fluid (cell zones), so it resolves nothing.. You can see the bad results very clearly, the most evident is that the result is a coloured image with the entire field at the same temperature 300 K and then you dont even realize that. Is so bad with so many mistakes that makes no sense to mention all of them. For metioning some, you didnt choose the material, just made a copy of COPPER and you didnt do nothing with the material, you can see that air and aluminum still remains in the simulation. Another mistake, you wanted to set the boundary condition to 500K but then ypou changed the boundary condition and didnt notice that. Then the result has nothing to do what you wants to simulate and he didnt even realize that, there is no boundary at 500K , and the form of the field is also clearly wrong. Just a waste of time.

    Hi, In Explicit Dynamics i have been encountering error named "time step too small". When i set mesh sizing 2 mm its ok but when i decrease mesh size such as 1mm and solving then appear "time step too small" error at end of time solve process. How can i overcome? Could you give me a hand? Thank you.

      In the Analysis settings there is a min time step value input a value of "0.0000000000000001" or "1e-15"

    I am terribly sorry, but the case is wrong. It is a demonstration of totally misunderstood heat transfer phenomena, its underlying physics, and basics of CFD. I would not recommend following steps done in the video.

      every simulation in workbench uses mechanical, so instructians always same. Go to file, there are options and solve procces options

      You need to turn the energy equation on if you want to simulate a heat transfer problem in Fluent. Enabling the energy eqn will activate the 'Thermal' tab in your boundary conditions etc. You will then be able to input thermal properties for your materials, temperatures at boundaries etc.

    Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. I am a beginner and cannot draw a solid structure; whenever I click on the geometric option, a new window pops up (Spaceclaim) in Ansys 19.1. Tools look different in it. Please, tell me how to proceed or what could be wrong.
