[Recorded: 5-31-24] This video is a store tour of the JCPenney store located at Weberstown Mall in Stockton, CA. I hope you enjoy this video
the elevator releveled and underlevel and releveled again if you didn't notice.
Some elevators relevel like that
We don't have this store in Southern California. Looks like a nice store. 😁
Hello, nice to meet you. Looks like our kohl's here in Maine. I am new here. Nice sharing and your 1st thumbs up! TFS & 😊😊👍👍
My family used to always shop Sears. Sad they are going for good.
I thought all Sears were closed.
Sears will be missed😢😭😭😭😭😭😭
WHY IS SEARS CLOSING ?
I’m sad to see this store going out of business as I live in Stockton😢. Last time I would visit here was 2022 and I’m sad all Sears my family I went to as I live in California are gone as my family went to the Sears at Cupertino Vallco Mall, Modesto mall, and Newark.
JC Penny used to be downtown im 61 and i worked in the building after JC Penny moved out to Pacific so the first two Anchors was Sears and what you call Dillards was known as Weinstocks it was my mom's favorite place to shop.
Its like a funeral. Its is alot gone wow. I hope they put another great something there for Stockton.
Sad...i remember going to this sears in Stockton since i was a kid. I will be sad to see it go. It reminded me of Toys r Us closing a couple yrs ago.
Its sad an era for sure. The basement was cool. Fitting Vogue playing. I moved before all the anti theft. Ty Emilio for the vidro.
I’ll be visiting this store tomorrow! Could very well be my last time in a Sears store depending on how long concord/ burbank/ Whittier last.
Sucks. That’s how I felt when they closed the Sears store near me. It opened in 1967 when I was two years old and closed in 2018.
sears closing in augest...
This will only leave 10 Sears Locations left…
Pretty sure the price checks are turned off because everything is on sale at that store only! Those price checks have data for all stores! They most likely manually take off the discount at check out.
This is literally the only video showing the Stockton store closing sale.
When a new business come in, they might end up removing the escalators + staircase and elevators since any possible new business coming in might only take one of the floors (probably the top floor)
They will just add walls around it with a door with a key usually i think
@@EFT_PlumbingThey probably might retrofit the store to remove the escalators and elevators altogether
But if they choose to keep both floors, I doubt they’ll let customers access the bottom floor. It might end up being used as a storage floor
Hey!
I can’t believe it… hopefully Sears can pull through, but I don’t see that happening. 😢 Thanks for making this video!!!
You’re welcome
0:44 Actually this store in Stockton CA opened in 1964 and was actually one of two original anchors at the Weberstown Mall when the mall opened in 1966
There weren't any other Sears in Stockton.. you make it sound like there's another one.
0:41 - Sears, Roebuck & Co. started in 1893, but was strictly a mail-order catalog until they opened their first retail store in 1925.
Your right
With Stockton, CA closing, this leaves only 10 Sears stores remaining... (for now...)
There will still be 3 more in the state. 3 more in Florida. 2 in Washington. 1 each in Texas & Massachusetts. Then one on the island of Puerto Rico. The one that closed prior to this store was the Jersey City, NJ store last April.
Only two are still open in Florida: Orlando and Miami (Coral Gables). There is an approved plan to redevelop the Miami store into apartments, so that could well be the next to close.
guys what do we do
