Okay I get it the pain is in my head. When does he talk about THE SOLUTION? I will literally do ANYTHING to stop this pain. I’ve been unrepressing my emotions for TWO YEARS and my back pain has ended my life. Emotions are flying free so tell me how to stop this pain? I don’t give a fk where it comes from.

I know this is what I have because my horrible condition goes away for a week and then just comes back for no reason. It's hard to reason with myself in the moment because it's so painful. The shocking feeling, tingling, feels like I'm going to lose it.

This book and the concept is misunderstood and thats the point because there is no real "cure". Those skeptical are looking for a concrete step by step method...like theyre used to. Thats kinda the point. The first step it to accept your pain isnt what you think it is. I am a crisis counselor and this is part of healing mentally. Knowledge is always the first step. When you shift your thinking, its sometimes enough. Chronic pain is its own beast because it requires one to accept hard truths about our bodies and how tension works. Ask yourself why the pain sometimes appears and dissappears for no reason at times. If you were truly hurt in the classic sense, you would be in pain no matter what. It wouldnt just pop up for small triggers. You learn pain responses. I can attest that it does work, but it takes time. Trust your mind can lead you out.
