Thanks my girl was doing a run and came across this glitch I have been looking for a solution, we were about to try the unfinished conversion glitch but all it took was for her to knack some sense into our companion I'm so grateful.

Hopefully to help some of you out and to save you from watching a 7 min video: According to Skooled Zone's video on how to solve this "No Talking" glitch, you likely walked away from a V.I.P. story character mid-dialogue. Finding them and finishing the conversation should fix this issue. For Skooled and I, we both left Preston hanging out in the Museum mid-dialogue to prevent him and his group from going to Sanctuary, and accidentally causing this glitch.

Can someome help? It all started with Nick Valentine. After the mission with Fort Hagen, before I started the mission, I dismissed Nick Valentine for Mccready. Then, later on, I dismissed Mccready for Ada. Then Ada for Dogmeat. I was trying to recruit Nick again, who I previously sent to Graygarden, now he's stuck on the highway and when I try to recruit him. It will put me in a cutscene and I cannot move. It is now doing this with all companions and I don't understand. Or if loading back to an earlier save might help?
