This is a song which is greater than you or me...it is a song of expression- of rage, of indignation, of insurrection- about political prisoners, and how torture cannot be left unnoticed nor go unstopped by the greater population- because WE ARE THE ESTABLISHMENT. It is a song of encouragement to those whom are forgotten about by the media, but never abandoned by their loved ones. If you will notice, the Prisoner in the song...NEVER cries out. The torturer, however, does make noise.
