When you said cut in half I a remember having to do that also to a quilt I was making. The quilt was so big I was able to get 4 quilts. They were much bigger than lap quilts. I remember I had a doctors appointment and I handed out about 10 quilts to the homeless in the NYC train station. That was fun.
That wasn't just fun, it was inspired!!! Nothing feels as good as giving from the heart. 🥰🧵🪡

Hi Anmaree. Wow, you really did that quilting fast! When you said bed skirt, I was thinking of the kind that go from the bottom of the mattress down. So it was a surprise when you made up the first twin bed with the beautiful new spread and integral ruffle. It turned out great. Oh my giddy aunt!! That dress is truly amazing. I would never have thought to overlay that gorgeous copper satin with the blue flowered net but it looks absolutely stunning AnnMaree!! The lace overlay seems to conceal the spliced pieces very well. You have such a great eye for combinations of fabrics. The blue lace over the coppery satin is absolutely striking. Love it.
