Mine had the same problem with the front right fender🤦

Old Pro isn't the name of the car, it is the skill level needed to deal with those *$%#$%@$& fenders...

Hiya! This is a nice kit to build. I had an issue setting the body over the completed chassis with engine in. I had to remove the alternator belt and had to trim the the front inner wheel wells to drop the body down.. Most likely me, but just be forwarned? Other wise really nice! Bye the way, I subbed your way cool channel!!

Looking good dude. This is an old kit and that front end is tough to get fitted correctly. I opted to remove the portion of the fender from the body and attached it to the front as you mentioned. Looks much better that way.

Don't laugh, I'm 61 been building since I 8 or 9 and I keep hearing this and looking at the results. What exactly is black wash ,or how do you do it ?

I recently completed this kit. It's currently in the member gallery for AMT 1342 on the Hobbylinc web site if you would like to check it out. I would post the link but RUclips will not post my comments with the link. The Chevelle I completed is the light blue one with the CT license tag. I thought the kit was ok. The front bumper was fiddley to align and attach--I had to cut the outer edges of the chassis for it to fit the way I wanted it to. I also bought the AMT redline tires and mag wheel kit. Also the door lines and trunk were scribed for better definition.

I'm behind on videos so you might have painted and polished already? Like others have said I use a sponge under my sanding cloth for the curves. I'll use a small square stock under my sanding cloth for the areas on the side of the bed. Hope that helps??? I'll be watching

I'm thinking yellow stripes, similar to the color of the frame would go good with that deep purple. The color sanding is a whole separate discussion lol

Good stuff!! I did this a long while ago and had nothing but problems with it, nothing fit on mine. Always cool to see others build it, despite the few fit issues, I think yours is looking sharp!!
