Is the water not bad for the engine

Someone splain to me why you only jack up the front of the car. I thought the car had to be level. How do you check for level? Place the level bar.. where?

FYI, I added 4.6 quarts but level showed bottom of dip stick, I added a few more oz to be safe. Hopefully the stick is not accurate, i.e., it will read midpoint rather than max at the full level. I saw some other mentions of users stating the Honda manual doesn't necessarily state it will read max with 4.6 quarts, but curious what others think.. PS, that background music is so silly but I find myself humming to that sh*t, lol. Luv it 🤣. PS: the cup used around the filter is genious, but didn't work for me that well, but cool.

This is the best and most detailed video I’ve seen yet, thank you! May I ask though, as I do not plan on using the method with the extended stationary funnel you used here, would I first fill the radiator to full with new coolant and the reservoir to half way ? Also, while burping out the air, does the radiator cap need to be open? One video mentioned that you have to close the cap while burping the air out, wasn’t sure! Thank you for any advice you can offer

You can use one of those solo plastic cups and take off the oil filer with and the excess oil will leak into the cup also.

Can I use mobile 1 full synthetic

A lot easier just jacking up and removing front passenger tire. You should pre-fill your oil filter also.

De nuevo No cambie ninguna arandela de aplastamiento. Honda CRV 2015 tiene la arandela de aplastamiento original de fábrica. Cambio mi propio aceite y filtro y mi CRV 2015 nunca ha perdido una gota de aceite.

Unfortunately it is a partial replacement. Some antifreeze remained and you just mixed old one with a new one.

Technically not a flush, just a drain and fill.

Watched quite a few wheel stud videos due to the stupid CRV/civic design either remove the wheel hub for $500 at the shop, or DIY cut a bit off the dust cover as it is in the way, but this is the most relaxing video !!

???.. my car is 2017 with 110,000 miles. and I saw reservoir is empty, I not sure the level of coolant in the radiator, ... Question: Can I just add to fill or its better to flush all and put a new one? ....

so no need to wash the system with deionized water 1st before filling with new coolant?

The oil filter never goes on that easy for me EVER and I am no newbie to changing oil im 60 it frustrates me every time.

it will help on the restart if you pre fill some new oil in the filter.

I have questions. Can we just don't turned heater on for engines getting hotter faster and wait until fan kicks in , then we turned heater on maximum speed later.

Normal is 750 rpm
