Greetings! My name is Cory Hall and this is my second RUclips channel. My first and most popular channel is BachScholar (since 2008), which is my professional piano instruction and performance channel. In addition to music, I have had a lifelong fascination with health and fitness, which is the focus of this channel. I hope it offers you some helpful information and insight!

great to see you not only continuing your piano channel but focusing on your health as well! God bless!
W video. Honestly, after being up for 5 hours, I would need more, but it looks like it's working, brother. Keep up the great work!
If you dont want something too heavy but satisfying, seems itd do the job fine
You have a boring breakfast? I just eat steak and eggs everyday. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. never gets old. :)
Thats a good workout , well done on your transformation.
Cool video. As a 33 y.o. iam kinda starting to dislike gyms too. You made great gains.
I think based on the photo your estimation of body fat is off, but otherwise looks like you are on the right path. Congrats man! I am only 35 but with two toddlers and a very demanding job I am struggling to get rid of the last remnants of the dad bod. Keep it up!
This is inspiring mate keep grinding!
Keep up the great work man!!!
Thanks! Will do!
awesome!
Thanks!
I love the Iso-Bow.
You should consider a fitness watch, combining your Resting energy and active energy will give you a Calorie amount you shouldnt pass for the day.
Anyone else click on this just to find out why it has 1K views?
420! 🤙🏻😎
That's hilarious. I never even thought of that!
3 eggs and whey protein shake your at 50g already for breakfast
Correct! I like to get more fiber in the first meal usually. I might have some eggs a little later.
@@coryhall8381Cottage cheese a good edition ?
Do you eat cereal
No, never. Maybe once in a while I will have oatmeal though.
hello Cory.
Hey!

Thanks. Good to know.🏋💪
Knowledge. So many fitness influencers and even trainers at the gym skip on this so people just get half of the effect that the exercise can have because they don't control the inverse movement.
👍🫡
Thanks so much for the inspiration! We had a TRX set installed securely to our basement ceiling a few years ago and then never used it. TRX is similar to your setup. After watching your videos I spent a little time researching how to use TRX, started exercising, and now love it! You got the ball rolling!
That's great! Actually TRX and rings are much different but in theory very similar. TRX is better for if you want to attach your feet to the handles, which is almost impossible with rings. But that aside, I still prefer rings over suspension trainers or TRX.
Hell yeah
Inspiring for so many
Dude that’s awesome
Keep it up! This is impressive
Well done. Way to go 🎉
Way to go
That looks like fun
Push ups , pull ups , squats
That doesn't look easy
Bros built like a sleeper Honda Civic 😭💯
How many times have you fallen because of this
Fuck that i'm swinging
Well done! Good advice.
Bro looks young asf. 😮
Inspirational, Keep up the hard work❤💪
So... the correct way to do sprints as an older person is to not do sprints?
No, it's just to lower the intensity of the sprints to moderate rather than all out. This reduces injury. Through the years, I have been injured several times trying to go all out on sprints. You are still going faster than jogging at moderate or 70 percent intensity. Once you get really good at about 70% intensity concentrating more on form than speed, then you can amp it up a little to 80 or 90 percent, then eventually all out. This is analogous to doing deadlift with as much weight as you can possibly lift (not recommended) as opposed to lifting about 70% of your max. No trainer worth their salt would ever have an older person, untrained, deadlift as much as they can possibly lift for one rep. And no track coach worth their salt would ever make an untrained older person sprint at 100% intensity. You need to work up to it, just as with everything else.
Hello ! Quick advice for the pictures : - Always make sure you have the same focal lenght so the perspective is the same - try to have the exact same lighting (and body position of course) - Put the camera at the exact same hight : look at the shape of the belt on the two photos, because of the perspective it is really more curved from one to another, it makes also a difference on the rest of the body shape as well Otherwise keep up the good work :)
Thanks for the advice. It's really difficult to keep everything 100% consistent all the time. Since beginning photos almost 8 months ago I have experimented with my stance and what I am emphasizing. For example in the photo from two weeks ago I stood taller and made my stomach look longer, while in the second photo I positioned my traps and chest a little downwards making the stomach look shorter. I sort of go back and forth between these two ways to keep things less boring. Also, in the early photos from like 5-7 months ago I didn't flex at all, but in the later photos I try to at least flex a little so I look more swole. It's funny, there was a couple weeks in July that I started creatine 5 grams a day and I started looking bloated in that my pecs got really big and puffy and I hated it, so I stopped the creatine. This is no wonder since creatine makes you retain water. It also gave me bruises all over. Thanks again.

I think the idea behind sprinting is to increase your VO2 max. I can’t sprint due to a 20 year ankle injury but I can ride a bicycle. I sprint on hills or flats and try to exhaust myself, 1 to 2 minutes several times. Biking is much less violent on joints for us older folks, but can produce great cardio results and increase VO2 max results. Start slow and increase distance, then sprint several times throughout the ride. Guarantee you’ll tire yourself out without hurting yourself. Great exercise for husband and wife. Think about getting a road bikes. (plural). Join a group for safety. Your local bike shop can direct you to others on your level. Just a suggestion for another tool to put in your exercise toolbox.
How long you been playing piano?
Since I was 6-7, which makes it about 53 years!
