I have a friend who lives in Indiana, she was so excited to have me visit because she'd always wanted to go to the Kentucky Horse Park, and now she could take me!!! 😂 I bought quite a few souvenirs there, and until I watched your vlog, I'd completely forgotten we also went to Churchill Downs. I didn't get any souvenirs there, I think they were very expensive, and mostly things like shot glasses and things that weren't horsey. I'll have to see if I can find my photos and digitise them! Thanks for the memory boost! 💖

His footsteps are so loud! I've only ever ridden 15.2-16.1 horses and I've never heard footsteps so loud!

Sometimes it's best to listen to the horse saying "nope" to a trail! I swear they're psychic!!! 😂 Merlin is looking really good these days xx

Oh lordy those turkeys!! Im so glad we don't have them in Ireland! 😂 Merlin is working nicely, I can remember when my horse was younger the progress we made was slow and steady, I'd get a few good minutes in a session, and it built up to several good sessions a week...then I got sick and all my hard work was for naught! 🥺

Omg I loved the little training sesh with Nathalie and you 😂 it’s funny how easy you make Merlin look to ride and then when you see another person on him you’re like ohhh okay so that’s what it looks like without a pro Merlin rider on him 😂😂 Nathalie did such a good job though!! His canter looks sooo hard to sit or even half seat on 😂❤️

Very handy skill to have! I've often thought I should learn some basic farrier stuff, my horse likes pulling his shoes off hooning around in the field, and a couple of times he's torn a chunk out of his hoof. Would be great to be able to sort it myself, to an extent, while waiting for the farrier.

I always to forget gloves when rasping....and my hands get so cut up !
