Really dude? No one really cares what buttons you choose for everything. I thought this was a force feedback wheel settings video as that would be useful. All this did was waste my time. Gee thx
@shanebrown-n3o sorry to disappoint you by making a video where the video sticks to the title. Please have an amazing weekend!
It can be a daunting task when you see all the different button map and FFB settings in games but this shows clearly on ACC how to access the menu and how to select and change each setting. Nicely done my friend 👌
Thanks @footdownracing. We love our buttons.
Awesome, man. It's all about having fun at the end of the day and battling for each position when its clean racing is so rewarding when you can make a move stick. I'm by no means an expert and I don't really do the daily races. I'm more of a Time trial challenge fan because my Internet can be a bit slow and laggy, so it can make online racing a bit chaotic. But I have won a daily race or 2. What I did to get a win, was to see what time people were qualifying in on the particular track and then I practiced the Time trial for that track and kept grinding until I knew every braking point , turn in point, apex and when I needed to accelerate out of the turn to get the best time I could. Once I was consistently able to beat the qualifying times of the guys getting pole position, I knew I was able to get pole position. Once you can get pole position, its just a matter of keeping that steady pace and not making any mistakes. I know finding the time to practice and perfect a track is the real challenge. It's so time-consuming, and work takes up a ridiculous amount of time we could be spending enjoying a bit of sim racing instead 😅. Keep racing and keep having fun. I always enjoy your videos and love your enthusiasm and sportsmanship on the racetrack 🙂👊
man! You’re not joking about the time it takes to learn all the aspects of every single apex and braking point. And lines are one thing and then learning clean battling is another. I’m glad that some of these tracks are in F1 as well so I’m learning for 2 games. I need more time to get some rally racing in, but I’m going to stick to GT7 until I get that W😊 Maybe in a few months we get around to that video collaboration. Let’s do something with rally. Thanks for the support, brother!🏎️👊🏾
Yeh man, for sure we can do something. Dont tie yourself down to a single game just to achieve a certain goal. Don't be afraid to jump into another game to and go for a spin before you achieve your goal of getting the win because you will turn it into a chore instead of keeping it fun. That's only my opinion though bud. That's the beauty of having all these sim racing games. We can jump from rally to track racing whatever takes our fancy 🙂👌 @roostergeeracing6962
@footdownracing Agreed. I have to keep it fun or this will not be worth doing.
The Supra and the m6 endurance are the fastest around this track. I tried a race with the hurican and it doesn’t rotate well in the turns
They are really good for this track. But boring after a while. I use different cars and just wait for the mistake to happen
@njc065009 thanks for letting us know. I will put these cars on the list.
Mine i can able to connect my fanatec gt dd pro to assetto corsa...can you make a video how to connect..mine is everything cable connected
Try restarting your Ps5 and logging in with the wheel in ps5/ps4 mode then use wheel to start game and then into options control should pick up your wheel Base
@Peenoy_blackbimmer I just made a video that will hopefully help you. Probably a bit late though.
Good tips man thank you
@JayJay-jv2wd thank you for watching. I have since changed the room around again and will hopefully update that soon.
also note that when u practice ...practice the start, bcos when u start, u arrive at the first corner at a lower speed,...so learn the new braking point for the first lap-first corner. also practice defensive lines, learning the new braking points. also learn the braking point references using both sides of the track...(cos sometimes your normal braking reference may b covered with another car) also practice different lines, and use the delta time to find the fastest. also try more than one car (i usually first check which car suits the track)... also practice race craft...bcos practice is very different then when u hv cars around u ...and remember the best drivers are the clean /rational drivers...pls no ridiculous dive bombing! be patient and outsmart the greedy competition, ...and DO not "out-crash them" good luck
@zisuwest1 thanks for the detailed tips. I’m looking forward to this detailed approach. I know it will take time and that’s okay. It’s great how you have broken everything down like this. So much to learn😊
To get a win in the dailies, you are going to need to be able to get pole position or close to it in the qualifying. The guys in front are keeping consistent lap times to the time they qualify in. If you can see what the top guy qualifies in, keep practising the track until you can consistently lap the time or preferably faster. Mount Panorama is a very difficult track with those barriers. The lap guides for each stage are great for breaking down each section of whatever track you are aiming to get a win. I recommend checking that feature out. @zizuwest1 has a great strategy for getting the win. Keep practising the track until you can get a time that is up there with the pack leaders and then jump into a qualifying and see if you can get pole position. If you can get pole in the qualifying, I have no doubt you will get the win, if you keep your composure and keep that consistant lap time going throughout the race. Best of luck out there and happy racing 👊
hi...u wont win unless u practice more my schedule, ...Monday night i practice and tune my driving (~1 hour), then Tuesday night i fine tune and reduce my quali time further, and do only one race. wednesday night, i fine tune further, reducing the quali time even further. (i find by wednesday, i've reached very close to my peak)...then, and only then do i join more races for the rest of the week... i've won ~ 15% of all races entered.
@zizuwest1 that is a proper schedule that is built for success. I definitely do need more practice time but right now I don’t have it. Slowly clearing up some of my schedule to get your hours in each week. Thanks for watching and for sharing your schedule. Congrats on all of your wins too!
@@roostergeeracing6962 no worries, better drivers make it better for all. i also dont race every week, i only race the tracks that interest me at the time. thats how i balance my time. PS ...the reason why i deliberately break up the practice...is to get sleep in between the practice sessuibs this allows my brain to "hardwire" the muscle memory from the previous nights practice... this works really well. sometimes on day 2...my very first lap is ~0.3 to 0.5 s faster, right out of the blocks....and again on day 3. I usually improve by about 2s from Monday to Wednesday...and thats when i start to feel one with the car, feeling like I can dance with it, throttle steering ...and brake steering just the right amount on the edge
@@zizuwest1Wow! Really taking that cerebral approach to driving. Even with your sleep schedule built in. No wonder I’m way off the mark at this point. And I agree that better drivers make the whole experience better for everyone. I used to race with a group of about 10 guys and they were all miles ahead of me but I didn’t have time to keep up by practising. They were all respectful and had incredible talent. Splinter Series.
Gt7 trash all they do is wreck u
Thats what drove me away. But I’m taking the approach that it will make me a better racer in the long run.
By the way y’all please try on other games as GT7 does not have handbrake support.
@lilgrabzy I use the handbrake for EA WRC and I love it. Couldn’t imagine using anything else (but I’m willing to test others)😊
@@roostergeeracing6962 so did it work on ps5 for that game
@LilGrabzy i tried it on Dirt 2.0 and WRC Generations (both on PS5) and could not get this brake to work. Excellent on PC!!
@@roostergeeracing6962 thanks.
Man appreciate your feedback
Hey, guys, back in the early version of gt, you were able to race against your friends with their garage. My son plays on the same console as me. How can he import his garage so we can play against each other with or own garage cars
@markholton7273 interesting! I can use any car in my garage for local 2-player but I don’t see how the current system will allow 2 different users simultaneously from one console. Sony wants to sell us consoles 😊. I’d love for you and your son to battle it out so let’s help this man.
Beautiful. Keep up the solid clean racing. That alfa romeo driver bashed into you a few times in that. You always seem so layed back about people hittin into you. I would be cursing him to hell for that 😅 awesome job, though. You are getting closer to that 1st place win 👊
It’s not my daily driver so it’s all good if they want to crash me. I’d be pissed if we were 25 minutes into a 30-minute race though. Thx for watching.
If damaging anyones car in the game cost the person credits, it might deter people from intentionally crashing. That would be pretty cool @roostergeeracing6962
Nice driving 👌 Steady improvements being made 👊
Slowly but surely😊
Nice consistant and clean driving 👌 A few lads dive bombed you in that, but you kept your cool. You really got into a nice rhythm in that race. Keep improving those skills and keep having fun. That's what it's all about 👊
Thanks @footdownracing i tried to use the radar as much as possible to predict those dives 😊
Ah nice! Thats clever thinkin. Pro tip right there 👊@roostergeeracing6962
Great to see you back 👌 I definitely wouldn't say that was cringe!! I enjoyed watching it. Clean racing with no bumper cars 👍 Practice makes perfect as they say. Those tires were seriously losing a lot of grip towards the end. I don't know if Racing hard tires would allow them to last better for the 5 laps 🤔 Lap times might be slightly longer but more consistent. Keep up the clean racing. Those guys up at the front of the pack have their braking zones and driving lines dialled in and probably have their suspension setup just right too. Keep up the good work bud and I would definitely change the name of the video because I didnt find anything cringe about that 👊
@footdownracing thanks for the kudos. it’s going to be a ride until i can get some good races in. Still a ton of fun. Thanks for the tip about going to hard tires👊🏾
Brilliant.. Whats diameter of the whole?
@christian_dionisio about 1.5 cm or 5/8”. Thanks for watching.
Thanks I was looking for something like this so I can play forza on my pc and gt7 on my pc without having to switch the cables every time
@christianchiari2697 you’re welcome. It’s made my life easier.
Is there any way you can have the buttons displayed in Xbox format on pc?
How well has this held up for you? I just ordered the same USB switch to be able to switch between my PC and PS5.
@bcsmpbell81 I’m still using it. I find that when I switch to PS5 that if I don’t turn the keyboard off it sometimes freezes the game. I have a lot going into the usb port from the PC and then into the switcher. But if I turn the keyboard off there are no problems. Have fun🏎️
@@roostergeeracing6962 Good to know. Thank you.
@bcampbell81 you are welcome.
Would this kit be good for someone who only does oval racing?
@ RCSimRacin my understanding of oval racing is that it can be on dry asphalt or on mud, but I guess anywhere else after that. With that said, tracks that have kerbs, jumps, change in texture, and other uneven surfaces would benefit more from this kit. Thanks for watching.
@@roostergeeracing6962 Thanks for the reply! I was wondering if you could tell if the rears began to slide earlier than just the audible sounds..
@RCSimracin never thought about it so I’d say the responses have always been on point.
Would I still be able to put casters under the rig for ease of rolling? That would mean the bottom plate of the spring will be raised....would that matter? If fine, how high is the bottom of the rig from the spring plate (so I can get higher casters)? TY
@jgloc25 you have to account for 2 1/4” or about 5.5 cm of space below the rig. I built a platform and put that on wheels because I always had to move my rig. Now I don’t have to but it’s still on that platform.
How high is the bottom plate from the bottom of the 8020? Can I still put casters to roll the rig (how high casters will work)?
Had no issues with motion sickness on wrc 8 and 9 but i cant play generations at all. Unfortunately maxing out the frame rate doesnt help
@gozushi-racing that’s unfortunate. Since I started playing EA WRC I’ve only gone back to Generations once and sticking with WRC. I just wish WRC had a gymkhana setup and free roam. Thanks for checking it out.
Thanks for the vid! Compared to a simple DIY two transducer (one under pedals and one under seat) and no spring dampers… is this worth it? Asking because if the left to right vibrations aren’t noticeable then I’m wondering why I’d pay for a full 4 transducer kit like this instead of just some normal haptic vibrations that still provide the same objective feedback. Thoughts?
@ lorentzfactr951 we can feel separations sometimes. Definitely instant feedback, but depends on the game and depends on the effect as to which side and how much you have the effect turned up. Part of the problem as far as separation is the rig is connected left and right and back to front. I believe one commenter may have said something about this in an earlier post. Having the rig on springs deals with vibrations to the floor. I’m on carpet in the basement so was never an issue as far as disturbing anyone below me. So if noise may be a concern in the other room then the springs would be worth it. As far as pricing it out, it’s been a year since I’ve had this and I’d guess that more products have become available since so DIY is most likely in your favour as it seems you are handy enough to give DIY a go. SIM Hub is what most are using to make any shaker system work so you should be good to go. Hopefully this helps.
@@roostergeeracing6962 Thanks for the insight! I have since purchased and installed a 2 shaker system (front and back). Very awesome feedback especially in iRacing. I see now that a 4 corner setup might have some diminishing returns for me personally. Localization between front and rear for ABS lock and wheel slip is about all I need and I worry that left and right might be tough to feel true separation in due to the rigidity of the rig itself. Only major qualm I have is that SimHub just doesn't feel accurate when comparing to iRacing LFE, something about SimHub is just super artificial. I'm sure there's some deeper levels to the tuning process of SimHub but any of the filters and tunes I've copied and tweaked just don't even come close to LFE.
@ lorentzfactr951 that’s wicked that you got something going and that you’re loving it. Thanks for letting us know about LFE as I’ve never hear of it before. It’s great that more and more options are becoming available for the racing community and everyone is sharing their experiences. Have a great race!🏎️
Nive work❤❤❤
nice setup man wish fanatec could fix their shipping and ship to more big countries, thank god corsair is gonna take over
@parrotTheBird thank you. Fanatec had a real good thing going. I hope your gear is awesome!
thanks my man just got my 4 corners shaker kit very very loud and disruptive to my home i think your video will help me tune them better
@chrisanders6018 you are welcome. Turn the knobs to less than halfway and then adjust your in-game output. You will still feel small vibrations without making it very loud for people around you. I like it rattling a lot but soft and subtle still gives you the sensation from the effects like gear changes and riding the kerbs. I think GT7 and F1 23 do a great job. Have fun!🤩
I worry about the springs absorbing most of the vibrations. I feel like it should be a direct attachment, no springs. Ever try it without the springs attached?
Never tried it without the springs because it’s a lot of work to lift everything and take the springs off. But I honestly feel that the springs are after the vibrations (on the opposite side of the seat) so it’s not taking away from feeling getting to me. You make a really valid thought.
Great video man, thanks. I've been looking at the prices of springs, and a decent set seems to be $300+. If anyone know where to buy the springs at a decent price, please share the link.
@chiefCauin you are welcome. Amazon had some foot pads that are used under washing machines and HVAC equipment that were at a reasonable price as well. They were suggested by someone in the comments.
So the whole system only brings a bit of movement because of your own body movements and the whole rig standing on the springs? The springs also only helps to hold the vibration in the rig and not giving it to the floor is that correct?
@a-ztube you are correct.
@@roostergeeracing6962 Thx Buddy 😉🤜🤛 Nice regards from Germany
@a-ztube you are welcome. Cheers and have a great weekend!
does the bolt come in the packaging
I honestly can’t remember because I bought bolts at a store for this wheel when I built my first rig out of wood. So I’ve had a few bolts lying around over the years.

@jontorres5683 i haven’t tried it but I’ll bet that another strap would hold the pedals down.
definitely gonna do this to mine! Great mods, this was my main problem with the rig
@naoltitude9516 thank you. And we used it recently with friends so it still works for stiffening the rig.
Thanks for taking the time to put this together. I just bought the 350W version which has the integrated sound card and amplifier. It's a much cleaner installation and simple to install. Your video showing how to set up in SimHub was helpful. It's a great addition to my rig.
@fredburmer7306 That’s great! Thanks for sharing, and I know you’ll have a ton of fun with this.
Should you not be using four channels, one channel for each transducer?
@ftocar Yes, I should be.
Drop in T Nuts would make the install even easier.
Agreed
Savage man🙂👌 I missed this video. I never got a notification from RUclips about it!! Great review. Looks like a solid rim for the price for sure
No worries! It’s a great find for the price.
was thinking to put my rig on springs and add but shaker under my seat directly or at leas get that pad with motors inside LOL :D It would be ideal if there is some kind of sliding mechanism (slights left and right movements like 2-5cm) for rear of the car when you are loosing traction etc just to feel that weight transfer a bit more and slider (SILENT) with those springs would be much better experience I think.
Sounds great! Sounds like you are describing the Next Level motion system. Now that it’s been about a year for this system, I’m sure other brands will be coming out with other options and at different price ranges as well. The industry will be stronger for it.
@@roostergeeracing6962 yeah but 3k for that is just too much :D 500€ would be anyone limit tbh since that is more like what they are worth and even thinking about costs to build them NLR is profiting decently.
@@atechcheck very fair points.
Running Sim hub is easy with GT7 .. just open up Firewall ports incoming and out going to what Sim hub says .. its a game changer.

I have a simjack handbrake which is similar. I strapped a ps5 controller so the lever pushes the right trigger and set the trigger button to handbrake.
@ivana6141 that’s a cool workaround. Great way to make your tools work for you.
It's a great wheel but I went ahh I need a neo so I did and use it with my new dd+ 😉. Then I went ahh let's grt something even higher end for a gt wheel and got the leoxz xgt pro. Holy crap it's as good as the higher end wheels but for less. Like 650-700 shipped. Works with fanatec bases out of the box even without a wire. I'll be using that one for a while lol. All alu backplate full real cf front plate, amazing buttons and insanely good cf paddles. Beautiful deep rich rgb led buttons. The rubber grips are identical to gsi grips believe it or not. If you can grt one someday you will not regret it. No haggle or hassle out of the box. Plug in and play even on PS. If your base excepts PS which I believe it does since you brought up gt7. It will show up as the f1 esports v2 wheel from fanatec as the profile to use.
@reviewforthetube6485 can’t beat that price for actual aluminum in the wheel. Sounds like you’ll be spending more quality time in the rig. That’s for sharing feedback about the new wheel.
Great reaction from Lorin at the start enjoying a bit of rally. Love it 😃👌 Awesome tips too, man. Comfort when seated is a must. I used to have a normal car seat on my old rig, and it was much more comfortable than the cooler looking bucket seat I have now. Having the ability to tilt the back rest of the setup or down makes a huge difference. You don't really need a bucket seat for sim racing imo. I had to get a memory foam lumbar support for my bucket seat because it was so uncomfortable to sit in for an hour at a time. Keep the vids coming, my friend 🙂👊
@footdownracing couldn’t agree more that being able to recline is an awesome feature to have. Anything to prolong the time on the rig. Have a great weekend pal.👊🏾
Thanks for the shout out Gerry! It was crazy fun trying out the rig! @feelbetterwithlorin its all about getting your mind working well with your body, and it occurred to me that that is exactly what you are doing with your simulator.
