In 2012 I stayed in a suite at the rear Deck C on Ventura. I was with my Father (may he RIP) and he really enjoyed it... He had not been on a large ship since the aircraft carrier in WW II, but he still had his sea legs. Although the Caribbean was a bit too hot for him on some days. The Cabin had a large girder running through the balcony, unique. Our breakfast was upstairs in the Marco Pier White restaurant. Our butler was called Elvis. I really like the cabin with its lovely highly polished wood and the bath. on our first day we found champagne and chocolates in the cabin, neither lasted long In the evening our Butler bought us canapé and we enjoyed these extras. I think the ship is a bit dated now and will likely be retired soon. Still, I have fond memories of that trip.

Hi amazing video was there amber leaf tobacco onboard ? I always bring my grandfather some back for Christmas I’m planning on going on a winter week voyage we cruise around 8 times a year and love it !

You were moving too quickly in the gift shop and other shops, hard to see some of the things.

All I wanted to do was book mealtimes………… this site is useless and no real person can help either. What am I supposed to do?

This is really interesting Nicky, we didn't know that such a place existed on these ferries. Would definitely try that lounge if we could, after seeing what you filmed. Guess that makes you a 'social influencer' now 😃

We always have a look around the shops onboard ships, and check out the variety of stuff on display, but 90% of the time only buy a souvenir mug that collects dust, or lanyard we never use 😆

So pleased to see a grab rail in the shower, this means I do not need an adaptive cabin - will be in this cabin on 7th July 23.

Could some one advice me please, what drinks come in with the price of the retreat? Tea ?coffee? Water? I am travelling on the Britannia next week and have booked 2 weeks in the retreat for me and my partner but haven’t got a drinks package as we generally don’t drink. But wondered if we get any soft drinks in the retreat. Many thanks in advance. Michelle
