yes yes, lack of depth lack of horses, 17th in points allowed ok but its the points on last drive stands that killed us. we need a stand to win the game and Bowles goes all weak prevent and they march down the field and we lose... I'm tired of that. I'm tired of surrendering the middle of the field. Bowles just is not aggressive when it matters. Go for 2 in KC. Hopefully we get teh best case scenario Coen stays Bowles stays. Give Coen another year to learn HC'ing under Bowles. Bowles has been good for Tampa just not great.

Yes you can point at the cap space. But all teams have that issue. Brady's hit ended last year didn't it? A lot of that cap space is also with the defense keeping them. Like I said before you get new coaches you will get new players. You may go backwards. But we can't go too far backwards from where we are now. But we have the offensive power now to offset it. We may become the NO saints with Brees as qb. But we will show improvement. No continuous backwards movement. I would accept a blip while we retool our defense.

I made this comment on another video but here I go again. Coen isn't the main issue with Bowles job. Bowles is the issue with Bowles job. What do I mean. Well let's look at what has happened since Bowles took the job. From a super bowl team our defense has gone backwards each and every season. Bowles stated he won't change any defensive coaches just make a few tweaks. Why not do those tweaks in season? Because he doesn't like to make changes during the season or even in game. Now our season was rough, between last years playoff teams and this year's playoff teams we played 9 games against playoff teams. 6 games in our division and only 2 soft teams outside of those. We won 4 of the 6 games in our division lost 2. Which would give us 6 wins with the soft games we therefore won 4 games against playoff teams and lost 5. We beat Philly Detroit Commanders. All very strong teams. We lost to KC by 3 points SF by 6. So let's breakdown Detroit win KC loss. Detroit had the second place team last year losing to KC in the super bowl. Not bad going 1-1 against them. But looking at both of those offenses. Detroit a whole lot more powerful than KC. KC has a stronger defense by far. So if we beat one we should have beat the other easily. Our defense is our weak link. We lost to SF in overtime because we didn't go for 2 and Bowles wanted to rely on his defense which was gassed. This happened a few times this year. Bowles doesn't acknowledge his team getting tired which causes mistakes penalties. Ultimately loses games for not re organizing what is going on with his own team let alone the team he plays against. So yes we may go backwards defensively at first with new coachs as new schemes are taught. But this would be the time to do it while our offense is this good. I don't think our defense could get any worse than it is now. So there is only 1 way it can go and that is up. We lost only 2 games by more than 6 points. One of those was by 10 so we are in every game. We need to push the defense over the line. Stop blaming Baker his turnovers did not lose a single game this year. Now Coen did have a bad game call against Washington only 18 passes which Baker only had 3 incomplete passes. This is why we lost. We know we have to air it out and score more than our defense gives up. We became too predictable that game.

Let Todd go and Baker. Baker had his chance it's time to move on to another QB frfr

Well, I'd like to talk about the practice squad that we just added. Bucs didn't lose much from their practice squad. They lost one Dl. I forget his name. The big name is perhaps Qb Michael Pratt. If he can beat out Trask for number two, the Bucs Qb situation is established for a long time! The next big thing from the practice squad is Lb Deion Jones and now Deion Jennings. Bucs linebackers were a bit of a weakness this year - even with Lavonte David. I think we saw something from Deion Jones that might have helped; but, the Bucs were one and done in the playoffs. Lukely perhaps, Bucs got Deion Jones signed already! Then, they found this Jennings rookie. With Sirvacea Dennis surely going to make it next year, the Bucs linebackers are already improved. I don't see this draft as having much in the way of linebackers. But, maybe they can find another Deion Jennings. Ope - I should have mentioned another linebacker from the practice squad - Antonio Grier. And there's Daniel Grzesiak. I'm thinking Grzesiak is more of a passrusher than coverage and even stopping the run typle. Bucs have another interesting Hb with D.j. Williams. I guess we'll see if the Bucs keep Coen. I thought he was a bit restrictive in his usage of the personal at hand. He didn't seem to want to work in more then two hbs. But, Bucs have another hb back there with D.J. Williams. A couple of interesting Wr's in Marquis Calloway and Dennis Houston. Looks like last years pre-season sensation Wr didn't resign. I'm forgetting his name. There's some interesting Oline - Luke Haggard/Raiqwon O'Neal and now Garret Greenfield. Luke might not have much positional flexibility. I'm thinking O'Neal might be better than Haggard and even Skule. It'll be interesting to see what the Bucs do with Greenfield. He's kind of an enigma. I think he has a high pass blocking grade; did great in some combine drills(even record setting), but not great at the 40. I'm thinking maybe move him to guard. I feel like what they decide to do with him could decide his career! That's the O from the practice squad.

Coach Bowles is a successful Head Coach, I say keep him BUT hire a top tier DC to run the D. Too many people over react.

Get rid of him

None of those numbers matter when that great run game and great offense don't show up when it matters most and you lose In wild card against a team that only put up 23 points. In a perfect world they keep both Todd Bowles and Liam Cohen. Liam has said in press conferences that he wont necessarily jump at the first job offer he gets for a HC. On the other hand would he really be willing to let the opportunity pass him by? 🤔

Demote Todd Bowles to defensive coordinator keep Liam Cohen and find a coat with balls and not the soft coverage he was playing while his opponent was going for it on fourth and one every time

It's sad but a proven fact... People can be promoted to a position of incompetency. Bowles is the image of such a claim. The team has succeeded because of who he is surrounded by., and not his contribution.

Good evaluation and analysis . Would like your take on special teams, outside of McLaughlin, we need upgrades in all 3 stages.

Yaya needs to learn setup moves, he has the build, athleticism and strength to be dominant he just doesn't know how to combine it all. He should train with Von Miller or Khalil Mack

He should hire a defensive coordinator whether Coen leaves or stays. He's been the DC for 5 yrs and the defense has regressed each yr. He's had 5 drafts which means he's had time to build depth as well as find impact players. Lastly the offense is pretty much the same as last yr but with the new coaching staff the offense shined which leads me to believe that the defense can do the same. I don't want him fired but I need him to realize that his defensive coaching staff needs an overhaul

I remember a big problem with Bowles was his D is to complex. He confuses his own players. That's what happened against the Rams in Brady's second year, and one more game to the Superbowl. Bowles calls a coverage zero blitz, and the D is confused. That rams d was wide open deep. That's the most famous example. Then there was the point about Bowles blitzing like crazy, but with very low percentage of pressure. None of these blitzes were getting home. His blitzing seems not very purposeful. He tried to back off and not blitz, but the D still wasn't working; so, he just went back to blitzing and hasn't stopped since!

Dude we had the experience, I was bummed for about 48 hours and then I got over it. This one really stung becasue we beat ourselves.

The problem with Todd is that everyone brings up he didn’t have his players on defense. What about dropping ur best rushers to cover rb, te, wr what about playing ur dbs 15 yards off n letting them drive down the field every game when they only need a field goal, what about not knowing when to call a timeout or when to go for 2 (kc) when to take out ur starters (Godwin) when to go for the win instead of not trying to lose (4th down in the playoffs) His defense scheme sucks but the bigger problem is his actual coaching sucks more. All the elite teams are aggressive n he’s to cowardly u can’t win like that in this era of the nfl

The talent wasn't there on D. Look back to that defense in 2020....unstoppable. Stacked from front to back. But let's not forget no risk it, no biscuit. Todd is not a risk taker.

Coach Bowles appears to be good at picking O-Coordinators. Does Bowles ability to find O-Coordinators help save him and mask his D deficiencies? Bowles was having a hard time figuring out how to get his safeties to work. He brought in Ryan Neal - didn't work. He brought in Jordan Whitehead - didn't work. He brought in Mike Edwards. Well, actually, when he brought in Mike Edwards, he was able to put Jordan Whitehead in as a box safety(a kind of linebacker safety), and Jordan was showing up again; but, he got hurt. So, I think Coach Bowles maybe saw that, and so, he brought Ryan Neal back. We saw some good things of Ryan Neal as a box safety in his first game. Bowles was forcefd to put Ryan Neal as a deep free safety due to injuries. And, well, safety injuries was a big issue all season. I kind of believe that Bowles maybe has figured out to put deep safeties back there and to play box safeties close to the line of scrimmage. Bowles might solve his D problems this offseason. There were other D problems. The passrush still isn't there because they're to young. Sirvacea Dennis got hurt. He'll be back, and Deion Jones looks like he has some life left in him. i'm kind of hoping with Deion Jones looking like he's going to play next year, that Lavonte David comes back. And, at first I wasn't that excited about this Jennings player. I thought he was a five year backup or something. Turns out, he's a rookie, who showed good promise - as a coverage linebacker. Maybe with a full offseason, he gets stronger against the run. I'm actually getting excited about the Bucs linebacker next season - especially if Lavonte David comes back to play alongside Deion, even if just for one more year. The secondary is still young. Winfield had his injury season(hopefully). I expect Funderburk to beat out Jamel Dean next year. And I expect this season's experience to work on Zyon subconsciously(I find that people get better with time off after going through an experience). I expect Zyon to get better - year in/year out. He'll get there. I'm thinking Coach Bowls might just survive; and a big part of it will be his ability to find O-Coordinators(even if Coen leaves).
