that appears to be the wrong base plate set up from them for a 2021+, the 2021+ is larger and fills that tray space. did you get the wrong year system, or have they just changed the base plate since you made this?

Does the backpack stand up on its own when empty?

I wouldn't waste your time with the 303. It's water based and wears off super fast. Just keep it cleaned.

how did you get tumi to emboss your luggage tag? when i bought my tumi a few weeks ago they told me that they have discontinued the service to emboss the luggage tag

Have had my Alpha Search for 2+ years now. It’s fantastic. The nylon just lasts forever. I went to a Tumi backpack after years of using a Tumi Alpha nylon briefcase. That Tumi proved to be pretty much indestructible - nearly a decade of every single day use commuting for work and many many business trips in airports and train stations. The crazy thing is that the briefcase still looks pretty minty new. Hoping the Alpha Search backpack lasts forever as well.

The primary laptop compartment seems loose enough that it might not hold the laptop securely. Have you seen any issues with that during your ownership?

To prevent caving: Cut a piece of clearbook cover that covers 80% of side to side. Get a magnet. Attach the cover and add the magnet to the metal name plate. Works like a charm.

Hello there. My Tumi cabin luggage looks faded And has dust collected over the years in crevices of the zip lining. Any help on tumi or non tumi products to clean the bag to make it look brighter n cleaner without risking the longevity of the fabric.

I installed the adapter, but couldn't seem to get the charge pipe to fit back onto the intercooler without hitting the wire harness/connector. How did you get around that?

Wish I could afford a new Raptor and go (have a Gen 2). Can’t fork over $90k, nor would I for basically the same truck I have, but I do like then Gen 3’s.

How would you compare the Search vs the Briggs and Riley large cargo

I’m looking at this one, the brief pack and even the B@R traveler and large cargo. I’m leaning to this. This would be for overnight trips with a lap top, some work files, a change of clothes for work and toiletries. Which would you suggest? I like the organization of this. Not sure if being recycled ballistic means less durable vs the FTX ballistic on the brief pack. Also - last question sorry - would packing cube work for the change of clothes or just too big for a backpack? Thanks! Great video.

I’ve owned both the Search and Navigation. Kept the Search, been using it for a year on daily commute on public transit and air travel. The Search had a few features (double zipper small front) and size I need.
