QR25DE Serpentine Belt Trick
Просмотров 72Год назад
Happy Fathers Day Today I got asked about a serpentine belt on a 04 Nissan Sentra Ser Spec V. QR25DE 1ST Gen 02-06 2ND Gen 07-12 3RD Gen 13-Present Thank you @red_rabbit_specv For inspiring me to post this video.
Steering rack looks like a pain. I am definitely coming back again to this video when the time comes.
Honestly wasn't that bad hardest part is rotating it as you go to clear stuff like the rear motor mount on the crossmember.
Dope to see the car coming together. I saw that you did the water pump and power steering in a separate video too. Any other future projects with this spec besides those?
Yes. I have a full build on the one you saw in the garage. I'm swapping out the entire 02 harness for an 06 harness. I'm also swapping in a built 2nd gen qr25de into it. Some carbon fiber goodies and some nismo goodies. I plan on doing a full build series on it. Need to get some finally pieces together to start on that one.
As for the daily that spec v might and I mean might get some spare parts for the other build that I have gotten over the years I have a fully built head and cams I can toss in and possibly enough turbo stuff to get that one turboed as well but that one might be a more budget friendly build
@@RillProblems That's dope man... looking forward to seeing the progress on both of them. Love seeing more ppl post up their b15 builds too. I have a spec I bought in high school that I built, but it's been sitting for years after some setbacks. Videos like these are making me want to get it back on the road again though.
Yeah this qr has alway been in a spec v so there's no worries on that. The input issue was a defect in the disk ebay sorted it out I put my spare set on to get the car going. I do still have the old flywheel pressure plate and a new clutch disk. I appreciate the complement it's just a daily for now. Coming up soon I should start the other b15 project.
I can't wait to see the next B15 build
Cool build, I have been removing the ring out of the center of the back of the automatic crankshafts as I heard they may hit the input shaft, I would just remove it. It might fit but it might also not. And the work of having set up everything just to have it not fit won't be worth it. The input shaft doesn't have the snout for a normal manual pilot bushing. The autos have a bushing there to center the to converter so it might have a different dimension. This may be causing your clutch input issue.
Dope to see more people post up vids of their Spec's. Would love to see more progress videos down the line
I plan on adding more. I have to edit my electric ps pump mod to the list.
