Aristotle was neither an expert in military strategy nor logistics. Alexander learned that from his father, Philip II, who started his rule after his brother was killed in a invasion. Macedonia was weak and divided. Vassals refused their rule, and other Greek city-states either tried to control them or invaded them. Philip himself was a hostage to Thebes when he was younger but that gave him the chance to learn from Epaminondas, one of the greatest generals in all of Greek history. Philip II had, by the end of his rule, united all of Greece under him.

The Eastern Schism is a harbinger of Martin Luther who will show the autocracy of the Catholic Church for what it is: anti-Christ imperialism!!!

Prior to around the 1400s public bathhouse were common, but the bubonic plague made people stop bathing communally to slow the spread of the plague. Saying people back then didn't bathe is like Saying everyone who showers today doesn't bathe. People still maintained their hygiene through mainly essentially sponge baths. It saved a lot of time in drawing and heating water, and the entire town didn't share your bathwater to spread disease easily.
