I’m Indonesian living in Canada now for 2 years and being used to eating outside every day back home and now I’m here in Canada I am forced to cook for myself and eating out is considered a luxury, not only is it expensive but the taste is mediocre is at best. I hate how eating out here is considered a rich people activity whereas backhome u didn’t have to break the bank to enjoy good food

Ok ,glad you liked it. We traveled 3 different times. But didn't feel the love. And could disagree more about the food. World wide ,how many Malaysian restaurants are there... thousands and thousands of thai restaurants everywhere you go. We obviously prefer Thailand and millions agree.

If you ask to MALAYSIAN where is America located they surely can give a answer..but if you ask American or European about Malaysia they personally told you they not really know where Malaysia is located..so in this scenario Malaysian is more knowledgeable citizen compared with European or American..

Greece, Spain, Italy, Portugal have better cuisine than South East asia in my opinion. I like meats snd cheeses personally but each to their own.

Another reason is European food doesn't require much technique to make at home, best example being pasta. That's why you feel the guilt of eating out at restaurants when you can do almost the same thing at home. Now try doing that with nasi kandar.

being a broke college student from 30 minutes away from where the video is filmed even (across the bridge) , having travelled to europe, (primarily NL) im, honestly, of the opinion that no its entirely possible to eat out every meal, and have a decent meal while youre at it, maybe i just got used to europe very quickly, but yk eating the foods of the people there, it was more than liveable, i quite like it even. i will say its annoying that you dont get to visit some mamak at like 5:30 am and a konbini at midnight, but its still pretty good.

Absolutely love Malaysian cuisine, the exception being the kaja toast and very runny eggs... Real bacon is also a scarce offering. But in general I prefer Malaysia over Thailand due to the very fact that alcohol is not so free flowing, a lot less noisy and obnoxious drunks around public places to spoil your time there.

Sean, loved ur video. I’m an American married to a Bulgarian for over 15 years. We have a home in Sofia & USA and have just decided to relocate to BG permanently. I used to work in Chicago area and the Northwest suburbs are the main areas for Bulgarians. There’s a great restaurant in Des Plaines called Mehanata. You should go there! Food is amazing and staff is great. Feels like you are back in BG. Also, 2 popular stores are Serdika & Malincho where you can buy wonderful prepared foods or standard BG products.

are you fckin joking? DO you actually know what you are eating in SEA? You are eating chicken that is cooked in oil that smell like chicken shit and hasnt been changed in 1 week. You are eating food made by people who cook next to sewers and you compare it to European food? In SEA you pay for cheap food and you get dog shit food, you go in Europe and pay 2$ and you actually get a healthy burger made with real meat and not the dog shit mystery meat that is being served in Asia and yes I live in Asia and I hate the food because its so fuckin unhealthy it almost gave me diabetes so i had to completely stop eating outside and cook specifically at home.

Food scene in Europe is bad in general, slightly better for Spain and Portugal, worse especially in the Nordic and pre Soviet countries
